No Depression may have said it best when they called Lee Roy Parnell, &#8220;…a fine writer blessed with a rich, soulful vocal delivery and a blistering array of guitar chops drawn almost equally from Texas blues, Memphis soul, and Southern rock traditions.&#8221;
Parnell is part of a long line of Texas roots-music eclectics and among the elite few who can be identified as a triple threat. An ace guitarist who is known as one of the best slide guitarists on the planet, smooth soul-drenched vocalist, hit top-shelf songwriter, his music runs the gamut of diversity. Combining the influences of Blue-Eyed Soul, Delta Blues, Road House Rock, Southern Boogie, Texas Swing, Country and Gospel, Parnell&#8217;s sound defies conventional classification. He draws from a broad range of musical sources and combines them with seamless dexterity and, unlike many other hard-to-pigeonhole artists, Parnell has enjoyed a run of success on the country and blues charts.
After honing his skills over more than a decade of playing clubs in Austin, Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, and New York, Parnell laid a new foundation in Nashville. Upon earning a regular spot at the famed Bluebird Café and a publishing contract, Parnell launched his solo career on Arista Records, which produced many country hits including &#8220;A Little Bit Of You&#8221; (#1 hit); &#8220;What Kind of Fools Do You Think I Am&#8221; &amp; &#8220;Tender Moment&#8221; (both #2 hits), and four other Top 10 hits: &#8220;Love Without Mercy&#8221;, &#8220;On The Road&#8221;, &#8220;I&#8217;m Holding My Own&#8221;, and &#8220;Heart&#8217;s Desire&#8221;. Parnell also scored Top 15 hits on a moving collaboration with Trisha Yearwood—“When A Woman Loves A Man”—and “Givin’ Water To A Drowning Man”. Parnell has earned two GRAMMY® Award nominations for his instrumental tracks “Cat Walk” (with Flaco Jiménez) and “Mama, Screw Your Wig On Tight&#8221; and was nominated for the CMA Vocal Event of the Year on &#8220;John the Revelator&#8221; (with The Fairfield Four). 
Parnell has received widespread acclaim as a guitar slinger. Gibson honored him with the creation and production of the Lee Roy Parnell Signature ’57 Les Paul Goldtop guitar, modeled after the only guitar Parnell owned from the time he was 15 years old until he was well into his 30’s. In 2019, Gibson and Parnell collaborated once again on the Lee Roy Parnell Signature 1959 Les Paul Standard.
During his storied career, Parnell has toured/collaborated with many music legends including The Allman Brothers Band, Merle Haggard, Delbert McClinton, and Bonnie Raitt. In 2011, Parnell was presented with his most cherished honor: being inducted into the Texas Heritage Songwriters’ Hall of Fame, joining the likes of such talented composers as Kris Kristofferson, Rodney Crowell, JD Souther, Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, Mac Davis, and many other legendary singer/songwriters
Parnell is currently working on new music for a future release.

Craig Campbell is paying homage to the songs and influences that helped shape him as an artist with his new album and live show. Class Of ’89.
For the album, he reinvented six classic country tracks that are special to him, including “Killin’ Time,” “Too Cold At Home” and “On The Other Hand.” Additionally, the album cover was taken by a local photographer in Campbell’s hometown of Lyons, Georgia after he won his first talent show singing another featured track, “Be My Baby Tonight.”
“Killin’ Time was the first album (cassette) I ever bought with my own money. That album changed my life,” he recalls. “‘Too Cold At Home’ is a song we played every show. That song became a staple for us, and the fans got to where they expected us to play it. And ‘On The Other Hand’ was the first song my wife ever heard me sing. She didn’t even really know me at the time but she says that’s the moment I landed on her radar!”
“I have been dreaming of recording this album for as long as I can remember,” continues Campbell. “These songs are some of the reasons I fell in love with country music in the first place. Every song on this album has a story, and each one of those stories shaped me into the country singer I am today. There will never be anyone that can do these songs as good as the originals, but at the very least I hope I made them proud.”
Working toward the traditional side of contemporary country, singer, songwriter, pianist, and Georgia native Craig Campbell is blessed with a deep, expressive voice, an awareness of the genre&#8217;s history, and a no-gimmicks approach to performance that brings out the sincerity in his songs.
In 2002, he relocated to Nashville, quickly immersing himself in the music scene.. He landed a steady gig at The Stage, one of the biggest clubs in historic Lower Broadway and doing demo sessions for other singers. Fellow Georgian Luke Bryan suggested Campbell try his hand at writing his own songs, and in time he mastered the craft, honing his original material at gigs. He met another singer, Mindy Ellis, fell in love, and the pair married; he also began playing piano in her band, which in turn led to a touring stint with Tracy Byrd. Keith Stegall caught one of Campbell&#8217;s performances at The Stage in 2008 and the young singer was soon signed to Bigger Picture, which released a debut single, &#8220;Family Man,&#8221; in 2010, following it with a full-length album, the self-titled Craig Campbell, in 2011. &#8220;Family Man&#8221; peaked at number 14 on the Country Singles chart, and two more singles taken from the album, &#8220;Fish&#8221; and &#8220;When I Get There,&#8221; made the Country Top 40.
Campbell kept up a hectic touring schedule, and in May 2013 Bigger Picture released his second album, Never Regret. Two singles from the album charted on the Country Singles chart, &#8220;Outta My Head&#8221; (which peaked at number 25) and &#8220;Keep Them Kisses Comin'&#8221; (which rose to number 15). In May 2014, however, Campbell got the bad news that Bigger Picture was going out of business, though the singer lobbied country radio stations to keep spinning his music despite the lack of label support. Since Campbell was known as Bigger Picture&#8217;s best-selling artist with a solid chart history, other labels soon came calling, and in December 2014 he announced he&#8217;d signed a new deal with Red Bow Records. May 2015 saw Campbell release his debut for his new label, the single &#8220;Tomorrow Tonight.&#8221; A second single, &#8220;Outskirts of Heaven,&#8221; arrived a year later and peaked in the Top 40 of the Hot Country Songs chart.
Last year was an ambitious time of music for country hitmaker, who released the 16-song The Lost Files: Exhibit A and the 17-song Exhibit B, the second of which landed on the first ballot of the ACM Awards.

I’m from Long Island, NY (pronounced “Lawwwng EYE-lind, New Yawk”). I was raised on gospel music. I played sax through high school. I studied Vocal Jazz Performance in college and I’m obsessed with gowns, books, candles and Sarah Vaughan&#8230;no yoga&#8230;no Sarah&#8230;no yoga. Oh, I also have A.D.D. That’s it in a nutshell.
It’s been about 13 years in the music biz. I’ve sung around the world a few times, released over 100 songs and collaborated with everyone from Jay Z to George Duke, Natalie Cole to Nas and John Legend to Drake. I’ve shared the mic with legends like Patty Labelle and Stevie Wonder and I’ve hit the stage with Rick Ross, Wale, Kirk Franklin, The Ojay’s and Rob Glasper amongst others. I’m blessed. I have a curious set of giftings. It doesn’t quite fit into any box. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Being diverse allows me to love so many different kinds of people and really, love is the point of it all.
If you’ve ever met me, you know I’m a talker. I don’t mind the time it takes for us all to understand each other. If you’ve got the time, I’ve got the patience. My speaking career has brought me to awesome colleges and universities like Harvard, Spelman, Temple and Rutgers and many others. I’ve been honored to speak on panels with organizations like The NAACP, The Congressional Black Caucus, Girl Scouts of America, VH1 Save The Music, The American Heart Association and awesome lifestyle companies like Beauty Con NYC, The World Hair Show, Essence and many more. I love subjects around women’s empowerment, jazz and the evolution of Hip Hop culture. I also love topics around self-love and inner peace. It’s been an honor and a privilege and I’m beyond grateful. Respectful conversation is the beginning of social peace.
Acting has been pretty fun too. I started out on one of my favorite tv shows “Girlfriends” where I was PETRIFIED into standing in front of 8 cameras. Tracy Ellis Ross calmed me out of my very first semi-panic-attack. I’m forever grateful. I’ve since had awesome acting opportunities on family friendly tv shows and programs. I’d say my comfort zone is “stage plays”. I’ve had a blast touring the country and acting with actors and actresses who later became besties and family. I’m not sure why, but I feel at home on the stage and the audience feels like an extension of my heart. Acting is my secret obsession and to be completely honest, I’m always practicing and studying. It’s one of my favorite past-times. (Well, that and photoshoots&#8230;)
Oh you didn’t know? I’m a fashion model in my imagination. I have a lot of photographer, fashionista and make-up pals. I can produce a fashion shoot out of ANYTHING. Once I shaved my head, got caught on camera and didn’t like what was posted. My bestie MUA and I ran to Dillards, picked up a bunch of faux pearls, panic-called the great photographer Derek Blanks and used a bunch of cloth to drape across my skin. The shoot ended up all over the internet! I even snagged a spot in Italian Elle&#8230; What can I say? Modeling is my undercover jam! I’ve had the opportunity to walk in a few fashion shows and spokesmodel for a few brands. That’s been fun.
I’ve had some public ups and downs. From the number 1 spot on the Billboard charts to reality TV show drama. From sold-out shows to political debacles. From scoring major writing deals, film &amp; television licensing contracts, Marc Jacobs fashion show parties and a sexy all-chick team to releasing myself of toxic energy to become the girl I am today. I’m epically human. I’m beautifully flawed. I’m rambunctious, brave, quirky and a TOTAL girl. 
Oh, and one other thing, I believe in the power of love. I hold on to it when things look hopeless. This world can deliver big heartbreak but love has the power to restore, uplift and comfort. It’s bigger than me and I hold on to it for power, peace and strength. So welcome to my little corner of the internet&#8230; Chrisette Michele’s World where above all else, I choose Love.

For the past decade, Tylor &amp; the Train Robbers have been blazing trails, carving a path through 
the heartland with their roots country and Americana music. With boots worn thin from relentless 
touring, they&#8217;ve crisscrossed the country, honing their craft and delivering electrifying 
performances, leaving a trail of devoted fans in their wake.
Brothers Tylor Ketchum, Jason Bushman, and Tommy Bushman form the core of this musical 
powerhouse. Tylor, the eldest, takes the reins as the band&#8217;s frontman, rhythm guitarist, and

Jason, on bass and backup harmonies, and Tommy, on drums and harmony vocals, provide the

country swing, psychedelic explorations, heartfelt folk ballads, and classic country tunes. With

To every thing there is a season. We’ve heard it in an iconic song by the Byrds and read it in the Bible, but few people understand the significance of that statement better than the members of 4 Runner.
After a flurry of success in the ’90s fueled by harmony-laden hit singles such as “Cain’s Blood,” 4Runner’s momentum came to a halt when their label suddenly shuttered. Lead vocalist Craig Morris and compadres Billy Crittenden, Lee Hilliard and Jim Chapman each moved on to other productive careers, but always kept in touch.
“Now we’re back,” Morris says as 4Runner launches an exciting new chapter with Back Runnin,’ an 11-song album featuring founding members Hilliard, Chapman and Morris as well as Morris’ son Sam, who completes the new line up. “Sam is certainly more talented than I was at that age.” Morris notes proudly. “He’s an amazing piano player, terrific songwriter and singer. He’s a great addition, plus that’s my boy!”
The lead single, “Ragged Angel,” heralds the veteran band’s return. Produced by Kent Wells and Tony Smith, the song was initially released in 2004, it has always felt like there was still more life in it and more people waiting to be touched. The reimagined track signals the newest chapter in 4Runner’s career and is the cornerstone of a vibrant collection steeped in the band’s signature harmonies while adding a fresh energy to the sound fans have long loved.
Morris credits Hilliard for initiating the current reunion. “The spark was Lee,” Morris shares. “We just kind of disappeared and nobody knew where we went back in the 90’s. Our label was shaky and we didn’t know it.”
4Runner’s debut album was released in May 1995 and “Cain’s Blood” started attracting attention, buoyed by a video the guys filmed in Hawaii. Three additional singles— “A Heart with 4 Wheel Drive,” “Home Alone” and &#8220;Ripples&#8221;— helped the band build its fan base and the future looked bright as they completed their sophomore album. Then the label closed up shop and the project was never released.
“We had to get back to making a living and raising our kids, who were very young at that time. We got to be dads full-time dads, and it was okay with us,” Morris says. “Jim has been at Brentwood Academy for well over 17 years as an art teacher and a swim coach. And he’s raised eight kids.
“Lee and I traveled with Loretta (Lynn). I was her last piano player and sang harmony as well. Lee had been with Loretta off and on since the early 80’s. All through the years, Lee has been the one to keep the 4Runner spark alive.”

Skyelor Anderson is a singer-songwriter who is making a name for himself on the Country Music circuit. Born on November 22, 1994, in Memphis, TN, Skyelor began singing in church as a young child and knew by the age of 14 that music would play a huge part in his life. However, it wasn&#8217;t until 2011, when he won 1st place in his high school talent show, &#8220;Southaven Idol&#8221;, that he realized that music would be his entire life.
His first real taste at performing in front of a large crowd was on the 1st season of the XFactor (USA edition) where during his initial audition, his music stopped playing almost immediately. Skyelor never missed a beat. He placed in the top 8 of the men’s division. Skyelor has since then dedicated his life to being a full-time artist. From playing in small bars in his hometown to playing CMA Fest two years in a row. He has opened up for numerous country artists, including Jamey Johnson, Brothers Osbourne, Craig Morgan, Jon Pardi, Trace Adkins, and many more. Although he enjoys playing on the stage, he also enjoys writing songs, sharing co-writes with hit-makers like Josh Miller, Craig Campbell, Styles Haury, Chris Sligh, Mary Kutter, and others.
With this mix of Soul, Gospel, and Country Music, and whether it be acoustic or full band, Skyelor has a reputation in Nashville as both an electric showman and a heartfelt singer.

It’s true, the nostalgic sound of classic Country music is back and it’s come in no finer form than the roadhouse twang of The Reeves Brothers.
Matt and Cole Reeves grew up in the small town of Pahrump, Nevada, where they lived behind The Stagestop, a honky tonk where their father, Jack Reeves, headlined five nights a week. Needless to say, Country Music is embedded in the boys&#8217; DNA and playing it is second nature to breathing.
Just as important as their dad’s influence, the brothers were, from an early age, surrounded by mentors like Dick Dale, Red Simpson, and Gib Guilbeau. The boys absorbed these various influences while working on perfecting their own craft with each passing day. Both briefly pursued solo careers, but soon realized that family was at the heart of who they are and the heartbeat of their music. And so, in 2013, The Reeves Brothers band was born.
They released their first full-length album, which the Las Vegas Review “deemed worthy of being played on a jukebox stocked with the likes of Charlie Rich, David Allan Coe, and Merle Haggard, with voices as smooth as top-shelf bourbon.”
After a successful album release and an ever-busying tour schedule and an expanding fan base, the brothers received the Ameripolitan Award for “Honky-Tonk Group of the Year” in 2018.
Although The Reeves Brothers have already created a successful and thriving music career as both touring and recording musicians, they have only really just begun. The last two years saw them on the road with Justin Moore and Craig Morgan, and they quickly caught the attention of hit songwriter/producer, Phil “Philbilly” O’Donnell. As they continue to build their team, the duo is also establishing themselves as a fixture on the Nashville scene.
Get ready for the classic Country Honky-Tonk of the Reeves Brothers coming to your town and your radio in 2024.

Kiely Connell is a Nashville transplant with rustbelt roots. Kindred The Family Soul is simply Aja Graydon and Fatin Dantzler; artists, songwriters, lovers, family. Both got their start as teenagers with Fatin producing his first released material with Bell Biv Devoe at 17 and Aja receiving her first recording contract from Delicious Vinyl at 14. In 1997 they were introduced via hip hop band, The Roots, production camp. Fatin, a hired gun to write songs for Aja’s solo project at the time. By the fall of 1998, they became husband and wife and while assuming the roles of a new couple and new parents, Fatin took a job selling appliances and Aja became a homemaker caring for their first-born, Aquil. After being unexpectedly let go from his job the couple contemplated the future. They&#8217;d developed a strong creative chemistry for Aja’s solo project so they decided to try performing as a team. Kindred The Family Soul was born.
Performing weekly at the famed “Black Lily” showcase at a small club called The Five Spot, Kindred developed a reputation for electric live performances. Hustling parents of a toddler by day and ripping stages by night. This amazing event would, along with Kindred, help foster the careers of Jazmine Sullivan, Floetry, Jaguar Wright, Musiq Soulchild and a host of others. A regular patron/performer at the Lily was Jill Scott. She was close to releasing her classic first album and decided to introduce the president of her then label, Hidden Beach, to her friends Aja and Fatin. This introduction would change everything.
In 2003 Kindred The Family Soul released their debut album Surrender to Love. “ Far Away” and “Stars” both became top ten urban adult contemporary hits and anthems for lovers everywhere. The album received a Soul Train Award and a BET Award nomination. The group began producing events and showcasing new talent as well. One such event was “The Upper Room” featuring a then unknown, John Legend and Jazmine Sullivan. All while also welcoming their 2nd child Diya into the world.
Their sophomore album, In this Life Together was released in 2005. The project&#8217;s lead Single “Where Would I Be (The Question)” was a wonderful follow-up, reaching the Top 10 on Urban AC Radio and also boasted the crowd favorite, “Woman First,” an anthem addressing the sacrifices of women for their family and relationships. This album solidified Kindred The Family Soul as a voice for families and couples, presenting a needed image of “Black Love” in an industry that rarely highlights it. Just prior to its release they would welcome their 3rd child, Nina.
The third album, The Arrival, was released in 2008. Singles like “House of Love” and “Just the Way You Are” continued the tradition of celebrating love and fortitude. Kindred began producing their own music videos and both songs were known for their touching visual stories. Both were mainstays on VH1 Soul and Centric. The title,“The Arrival” was a nod to the birth of the couples set of twin girls, Lanaa and Ain.
2009 was a year of change. The first Black President was in the midst of his first term, the country was in a financial slump and the group &#8211; despite three charting albums &#8211; found itself without a label deal. Kindred The Family Soul began documenting their journey through this climate of change in a web series called “Six Is It!”, named jokingly about expecting their sixth and final child, Deen.
In 2011 they released their first album with Purpose/Shanachie records, Love Has No Recession, an album detailing triumph over adversity and the enduring power of love. Critically acclaimed and compared in intent to the Marvin Gaye classic, “What&#8217;s Going On?,” the album featured the single&#8221;Magic,” and &#8220;You Got Love,” a surprising collaboration with Snoop Dogg, offering a sixteen bar verse about his love for his wife. The group also founded a media company, The Media Shack and produced 5 music videos for the album.
In 2013 Kindred digitally released a live album to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut Surrender To Love. It was a rare early recording of the group live in London performing every song on the then-just-released album.
Their fifth album, simply called “A Couple Friends” was released in 2014. Kindred along with Shanachie Records produced a short film directed by Jamal Hill, to accompany this album. The film follows the story of couples connected to Kindred The Family Soul and how they move through their challenges, with love and friendship as the anchor. The group also wrote their first children&#8217;s book, “Mama said, “Clean Up!”” based on a freestyle song performed by their children and featured on the album. 2014 also ushered in a commitment to community with the couple producing two annual events in their hometown of Philadelphia: Kindred The Family Games and Kindred The Family Reunion, both free to the public.
In Spring of 2015, they received an opportunity to be a part of a national commercial for Walmart. Highlighting the culture of the family reunion, Kindred The Family Soul and all six of their children were featured in the summer-long campaign. The commercial received over a million hits on YouTube and is still one of the most viewed ads ever produced by the retail giant.
Kindred released their 6th studio album, Legacy of Love, in August of 2016. The lead single hit Number-One on Soul charts in the UK as well as Top-40 on the AC Charts Stateside. Considered timely and much-needed, ”All my People” paints a vision of equality, peace and unity. In March 2017 the group started producing a web-based conversation /performance series called “Kindred Presents,” featuring artists, cultural icons, actors and other creatives.
Auntie &amp; Unc, their seventh full album dropped in 2021. Kindred explains, &#8220;Auntie &amp; Unc is a bit of a manifesto. A declarative statement of two black people who have loved and worked together for two decades. We are OG&#8217;s in this Black Love conversation and we have wisdom to share, but we embrace that life is an ever-teaching state of mind.&#8221;

Many of you have seen Joanna Cotten performing alongside Eric Church somewhere on the road between the Outsiders tour and the Gather Again tour. Joanna Cotten is Memphis born, Arkansas raised and Juilliard trained. She has known what she wanted to do her entire life, which is sing for people and she has done just that.
Joanna started studying voice at the age of 5 in Arkansas and at age 10 she studied at Rhodes College Music Academy, which eventually led her to accept a full scholarship to The Juilliard School. Joanna quickly realized that her love for other genres of music besides opera had a great pull on her heart and she moved to Nashville to pursue her musical dreams. She got signed to EMI Music Publishing where Joanna went on to have cuts by LeAnn Rimes, Leona Lewis and Danny Gokey. She signed an artist deal with Warner Bros. and recorded a debut solo record.
After maneuvering through a few broken dreams, Joanna’s solo album was never released but she moved on to singing on other artists&#8217; records including Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, The Black Crowes, Brantley Gilbert and Eric Church. Joanna has sung on every record but two with Eric and went on to tour with him live for 8 years. She is currently going back to her true heart and working on a new endeavor with her solo music.

Willis Alan Ramsey is an eminent American singer/songwriter and a cult legend among fans of Americana and Texas Country. He released his self-named, critically acclaimed album Willis Alan Ramsey on the Shelter label in 1972. The album included &#8220;Muskrat Candlelight,&#8221; which was covered (under the title &#8220;Muskrat Love&#8221;) by America in 1973 and by Captain &amp; Tennille in 1976. Several other notable artists have gone on to cover his witty, introspective songs, including Widespread Panic, Waylon Jennings, Jimmy Buffett, and so many more. In 2000, Ramsey appeared at Austin City Limits to showcase his classic hits as well as new, unreleased material and was recently featured in Texas Monthly.
The list of those inspired by Ramsey also include Lyle Lovett, Jimmi Dale Gilmour, Shawn Colvin and countless other Texas troubadours.

When Jeremy Pinnell released OH/KY in the summer of 2015 to stunned acclaim, it felt like an entire career compressed into one knock-out album. Hailed as, a “Mind-blowingly good” (Greg Vandy/KEXP) “ ”tutorial on classic country music” (Popmatters), Pinnell’s debut immediately differentiated as authentic and unflinching. Dogged touring through Europe and the States and celebrated radio sessions followed, cementing Pinnell’s position as a no-fuss master of his craft.

Songwriter, artist and entrepreneur Kevin MaC jump-started his music career in 2014 with an L.A. publishing deal. Kevin has since honed his craft, and his performance skills, having since written with legendary Nashville hit-makers Keith Stegall and Buddy Cannon, Grammy award-winning songwriters Wyatt Durrette and Levi Lower and even with “young blood” tunesmiths who’ve penned hits for Zac Brown Band, Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Alan Jackson. Dan Tyminski 
Throughout his 30+ year career, Dan Tyminski has left his mark in every corner of modern 
music. Tyminski’s voice famously accompanies George Clooney’s performance of the Stanley 
Brother’s classic song, “I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow,” in the film, Oh Brother, Where Art 
Thou, bringing bluegrass into focus for millions of new fans. His vocal collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii on the song “Hey, Brother” was a global smash, having been streamed over 1 billion times to date.
Dan has also contributed guitar and/or harmony to projects by Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, 
Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, LeAnn Rimes, Aaron Lewis and Rob 
Thomas, to name a few. In addition to his highly successful solo career, Dan has 
played guitar and mandolin for Alison Krauss &amp; Union Station since 1994. His unmatched 
instrumental skills and burnished, soulful tenor voice have been key components of the band. 
He has been honored with 14 Grammy Awards, was named Male Vocalist of the Year by the

Ronnie Bowman 
From the tender age of three, Ronnie Bowman has been performing music. Starting in a family band playing churches in North Carolina and Virginia, he eventually joined the acclaimed Bluegrass band The Lost &amp; Found. Shortly after Ronnie joined The Lonesome River Band, and became a participant in the band’s recording of Carrying the Tradition, which was ultimately named International Bluegrass Music Association’s (IBMA) Album of the Year in 1991.=
​It wasn&#8217;t long before Ronnie Bowman became a household name in the Bluegrass community. With the release of an additional four albums as a member of the Lonesome River Band, Ronnie also recorded four solo projects. He has been awarded IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year three times, has twice earned the IBMA Song of the Year award and was awarded the Gospel Performance of the Year award for &#8220;Three Rusty Nails&#8221;. As a songwriter, Ronnie has earned a great deal of respect not only among Bluegrass professionals but also in Country Music. Both Brooks &amp; Dunn, and Kenny Chesney have brought Ronnie Bowman originals to #1, and Lee Ann Womack also included a song by Ronnie on the multi-platinum-selling album &#8220;I Hope You Dance&#8221;.
​He has seen continued songwriting success with three songs on Chris Stapleton&#8217;s multi-platinum-selling album, Traveller. The single &#8220;Nobody To Blame&#8221; won Ronnie the ACM &#8220;Song of the Year,” while the album received the ACM and CMA &#8220;Album of the Year&#8221; awards as well as a Grammy for &#8220;Country Album of the Year&#8221;.
As a vocalist, Ronnie has recorded with various artists including, Alan Jackson, Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Lee Ann Womack, Del McCoury, Chris Stapleton, and John Fogerty to name a few. “Right place, right time-mullets and tight jeans!” Get ready to ride. Everybody loves a comeback and the resurgence of the 90’s country would not be complete without McBride &amp; The Ride triumphantly bursting back onto the scene. The original line up of Ray Herndon (vocals/guitar), Terry McBride (vocals/bass) and Billy Thomas (vocals/drums) have been in the studio recording new music and will take the stage to introduce fans to the new songs as well as delight them with the classics
The brainchild of legendary producer Tony Brown, then head of MCA Records, Brown made the introductions and the magic started happening right from their very first rehearsal. “Tony put the three of us together but had no idea that the harmony would be what it is. That was a surprise to all of us,” Herndon recalls of that first breathtaking blending of their voices.
The band garnered ACM and CMA nominations and released three acclaimed albums on MCA Records, Burnin’ Up The Road, Sacred Ground, and Hurry Sundown, spawning hit singles like &#8220;Love on the Loose, Heart on the Run,&#8221; “Sacred Ground,” &#8220;Going Out of My Mind,&#8221; “Just One Night.” Ultimately the band would produce 11 hits on the Billboard Country charts, including 5 Top-Five, before ​disbanding.
Over the last two decades, the three principles have thrived in their individual careers. Herndon has been Lyle Lovett’s lead guitarist since 1985 and has had songs cut by Kenny Chesney, Aaron Tippin, Lee Greenwood, Linda Davis and more. He continues to operate his family’s historic club, Handlebar J, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
McBride has had his songs recorded over 100 times, writing hits for Brooks &amp; Dunn, Reba McEntire, Easton Corbin, Cody Johnson and more. He toured with Brooks &amp; Dunn through most of their biggest years playing bass and writing songs.
Thomas moved to Nashville from Los Angeles in 1987 and immediately started working with Vince Gill along with many other country stars (Emmylou Harris, Patty Loveless, Steve Wariner &amp; Earl Scruggs). He’s continued as Gill’s singing drummer on the road and in the studio ever since, adding background vocals to many of his hits. In 2010 Thomas joined the Grammy-nominated Western Swing band, The Time Jumpers. You can catch him most Monday nights with them in Music City.
In 2023 the guys reunited to cut the EP Marlboros &amp; Avon, their first new music in nearly 30 years. The trio agrees that one of the most exciting parts of their relaunch is that they will be able to share their music with a whole new generation of country fans. “I believe we can be terrific ambassadors for that period of country music while again making an impact on the format,” Thomas shares. Much like neon, real country music, and denim-everything, the 90s are back. “It’s always been easy making music with Ray and Terry. Times have changed, but our fans haven’t. I still run into folks who caught our live show back in the 90s and rave about their experiences. I’m excited to ride again!”

Grand Ole Opry member Mandy Barnett, one of Nashville’s musical treasures who has showcased her mesmerizing voice on stages across the globe, started singing at 5 years old. She has been singing since.
Barnett’s Style is rooted in classic Country and Pop crooning of iconic singers and timeless sounds. She delves into a song with keen interpretive sense, getting right down to its emotional core and rendering a powerful performance through her “pipes of steel” (Los Angeles Times). As one record executive put it, “Mandy Barnett is a song’s best friend.”
She first gained national prominence as the original star of one of the first “jukebox” musicals, Always…Patsy Cline at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium. Barnett, as Cline, performs on the original cast soundtrack album and is the only actress to have played the role on the historic Ryman stage where Cline’s legend began. These shows sold out nightly and received rave reviews.
Mandy’s critically lauded albums include I’ve Got a Right to Cry, named “Top Country Album” by Rolling Stone in the year of its release and produced by renowned Nashville Sound pioneer Owen Bradley (who also produced Loretta Lynn, Benda Lee and k.d. lang). Rolling Stone continued to honor this album, placing it in 2019 on two “Best Of” lists of seminal Country work.
With a string of acclaimed Country albums, such as her self-titled Warner Bros. debut, her Christmas celebration Winter Wonderland, the Cline-inspired Sweet Dreams and I Can’t Stop Loving You: The Songs of Don Gibson, there’s no doubt Barnett has mastered that genre and holds it dear to her heart. But Barnett is not one to be musically boxed in. Her 2018 Strange Conversation album, an Americana blend of roots, pop and R&amp;B, includes a duet with John Hiatt and a soulful rendition of Neil Sedaka’s “My World Keeps Slipping Away” which Sedaka himself sent to Mandy to record. Hailed by AllMusic as the “richest record of her career” and the Philadelphia Inquirer listed Strange Conversations among the best Country/Roots albums of 2018.
As further testament to her diversity, Barnett sang on the SpongeBob SquarePants album, The Best Day Ever (sharing the spotlight with a disparate array of artists including Brian Wilson, Tommy Ramone and Flaco Jimenez) and often incorporates a Great American Songbook standard into her live shows. When asked about her favorite composer, Barnett’s as likely to cite Cole Porter or George Gershwin as she is Willy Nelson or Dolly Parton.
In fact, along the lines of highlighting Barnett’s range. Her 2020 album A Nashville Songbook, an album of multi-generational Pop and Country gems produced by Fred Mollin (Johnny Matthis, Kris Kristofferson, Jimmy Webb, etc), was inspired by Barnett’s popular “Nashville Songbook” live show. 
Every Star Above, Barnett’s most recent album (also produced by Mollin), celebrates and reworks selections from Billie Holiday’s Lady In Satin, with original arrangements by the late legend Sammy Nestico. Variety magazine named Every Star Above one of the best albums of 2021.
Barnett is equally as comfortable on the Grand Ole Opry and stages with symphony orchestras, having recently performed solo concerts with the Nashville Symphony, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and the Ulster Orchestra in Belfast highlighting her “Nashville Songbook” repertoire. Barnett made her New York City cabaret debut at Feinstein’s/54 Below in 2019 with an acoustic version of her “Nashville Songbook.”
Barnett’s music has been featured in many major film and television soundtracks (most recently, in The CW Network’s series “The Flash”), including projects starring Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, Martin Sheen, Reese Witherspoon, Matthew Broderick, Sigourney Weaver, Ellen Burstyn and Bill Paxton. Besides soundtrack work, Barnett often contributes tracks to other types of musical compilations, and she has appeared on “The Tonight Show,” “The Late Show,” “CBS Sunday Morning,” PBS’s “Sessions at West 54th,” PBS’s “Bluegrass Underground,” and numerous other programs.
In 2020, Barnett came full circle with her East Tennessee roots. She joined a select group of music luminaries running the gamut from Johnny Cash to Taylor Swift in being honored by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development with a Tennessee Music Pathways marker. Erected in Barnett’s hometown, Crossville, the historic marker celebrates Barnett’s contributions in making Tennessee the “Soundtrack of America.”

From her home base in Boston, Lori McKenna has carved out an enviable niche for herself as one of Nashville&#8217;s most in-demand songwriters while maintaining a prolific and remarkably consistent career as a solo artist. By the time her songwriting took off in 2005, she had already released four strong independent albums of warmly crafted folk and Americana music, and as she began to rack up writing credits with country stars like Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban, fans found out about her own records.
Continuing into the 2010s, McKenna became a well-established, award-winning songwriter with several big hits under her belt including Tim McGraw&#8217;s &#8220;Humble and Kind&#8221; and Little Big Town&#8217;s &#8220;Girl Crush.&#8221; Starting with 2016&#8217;s The Bird &amp; the Rifle, she began a three-album collaboration with producer Dave Cobb that resulted in her first Grammy nomination for one of her albums. After releasing 2020&#8217;s The Balladeer, McKenna shifted her focus to a series of EPs and collaborative singles.
McKenna was raised in a musical family and wrote her first songs as a teenager, though it wasn&#8217;t until her late twenties that she began performing on Boston&#8217;s folk circuit. After releasing her debut, Paper Wings and Halo, in 2000, she signed with indie Signature Sounds and released three more albums over the next four years, including 2004&#8217;s acclaimed Bittertown. While her reputation as a quality songsmith had already netted her a publishing deal with Nashville&#8217;s Harlan Howard Music, her fortunes changed dramatically when country star Faith Hill covered three of McKenna&#8217;s songs on her 2005 album Fireflies. Hill&#8217;s album topped both the country and pop charts, and the increased exposure soon earned McKenna a record deal with Warner Bros., which reissued Bittertown later that year.
While the Warner deal would only yield one new album in 2007&#8217;s Unglamorous, Universal Music signed McKenna to a publishing deal the following year, and by the decade&#8217;s end, other major artists like Tim McGraw, Mandy Moore, and Vance Gilbert had recorded her songs. In addition to her successes as a songwriter, McKenna continued to record her own albums, earning acclaim for releases like Lorraine (2011), Massachusetts (2013), and Numbered Doors (2014).
As a songwriter, she remained in high demand, writing for Keith Urban, Hunter Hayes, Alison Krauss, and Little Big Town, among many others. Several of her songs proved to be major hits, with Hayes&#8217; &#8220;I Want Crazy&#8221; topping Billboard&#8217;s pop chart and Little Big Town&#8217;s country smash &#8220;Girl Crush&#8221; earning McKenna her first Grammy and CMA awards. Throughout her career, she has continued to call Boston home, commuting to and from Nashville to write and collaborate while choosing to live outside of Music City&#8217;s bubble.
After signing a new deal with Creative Nation in 2015, she hooked up with Nashville maverick Dave Cobb, whose organic production style has been parlayed into critically lauded albums by artists like Sturgill Simpson and Jason Isbell. The result was 2016&#8217;s more intimate The Bird &amp; the Rifle, which featured her own version of &#8220;Humble and Kind,&#8221; a country hit she&#8217;d provided to Tim McGraw earlier in the year. McGraw&#8217;s version also helped her earn a second consecutive CMA award for Song of the Year.
In 2018, she once again paired with Cobb for The Tree, a tonally similar outing that featured her son, Christopher McKenna, playing Mellotron on the song &#8220;The Lot Behind St. Mary&#8217;s.&#8221; Although her writing has frequently veered toward introspection, McKenna&#8217;s 11th album, The Balladeer, saw her reaching deep into her personal life for inspiration. Another Cobb collaboration, it was released in July 2020. McKenna ventured into holiday music on the 2021 EP Christmas Is Right Here, then started a series of collaborative EPs with fellow songwriters Luke Laird and Barry Dean. Released during the front part of 2023, the three volumes of The Songwriter Tapes featured updated versions of hit songs they had originally written for others. Later that year, McKenna collaborated with Caroline Spence on &#8220;The Next Good Time&#8221; and with Hillary Lindsey on &#8220;Killing Me” and again teamed up with Cobb to release the more electric, live-tracked album 1988.

After more than three decades of bringing his signature brand of country music to fans around the world, ‘90s country hitmaker Doug Stone has decided it’s time to hang up his cowboy hat, but not before giving his fans one last opportunity to catch a show and sing along to songs that shaped the 90s era of country music on his farewell tour. 
“I’ve been on the road for 34 years, and I’m still in pretty good shape,” says Stone. “I’ve missed a whole lot of family life. I’ve got a seven-year-old daughter now, and it’s time to come off the road and have a home life.
Now in 2024, thirty-four years, 8 Number One hits, 15 TopTen singles, and over 10 Million album sales later, the singer of timeless Country gold like “A Jukebox with a Country Song” &amp; “In a Different Light” is undertaking one final tour. For Stone, his years on the road have been an answered prayer, and he plans on stepping off the stage with the same gratitude with which he stepped onto it.
“I asked the Lord to allow me to do this more than 30 years ago. He’s let me, and I’ve had a lot of fun. I’ve given everything I’ve got to my fans, and it’s about time to give some to my family,” says Stone. “I just want to thank all the fans for letting me do this for a lifetime and loving the music.”

JANELLE ARTHUR was a Top 5 finalist on season 12 of American Idol and has grown a very impressive resume for herself in Nashville! Over the last several years, Janelle has released a successful series of singles and recorded multiple duets with notable partners like Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, Deanna Carter, The Isaacs and more! She’s made appearances on th stages of the historic Grand Ole Opry and Ryman Auditorium as well as concert halls all across the country. An accomplished singer-songwriter as well as actress, Janelle landed the starring role in the motion picture “Running From My Roots” and wrote the movie’s title track along with several other soundtrack cuts.
Nashville native RYAN LARKINS is one of Country Music’s artists on the rise! Ryan first came to the public’s attention on the CMT series “Can You Duet” and has been pursuing a career as a songwriter and artist since. After Al Stewart’s US tour in 2019 with his band The Empty Pockets, he spent most of 2020 and 2021 sidelined due the COVID-19 pandemic. But in 2022, he came back full force with a string of sold-out shows in the United States and United Kingdom, and he even made his debut in Israel. On his current tour, he’ll continue his trek with several shows throughout the United States. He will be playing his old favorites, like “Year Of The Cat,” “Time Passages,” “On the Border” and “Modern Times,” along with selections from his deep catalogue spanning five decades as a key figure in British music.
The Scottish-born singer-songwriter has released nearly 20 introspective and lyrically powerful records featuring brilliant backing musicians (Jimmy Page, Phil Collins, Richard Thompson, Peter White, etc.). I was always a huge music fan and originally, I had wanted to be Brian Jones and then Bob Dylan, but those two jobs were already taken. And in many ways, I&#8217;m still pretty much the same troubadour that I was back in 1965. I still get a kick out of hearing the Zombies, Hendrix or They Might be Giants on the radio.”

For Suzy Bogguss, life is all about connection.

She&#8217;s a living legend of country music, having earned eight Top 10 hits throughout the 1990s before exploring new influences — including jazz, western swing, and the Bakersfield sound — during the 21st century. From Grammy Award-winning performances to platinum-selling records, Suzy has proudly called her own shots for four decades, earning her stripes as a singer-songwriter, producer, and road warrior along the way.

Most importantly, she&#8217;s maintained strong relationships with her friends and fans, from the soup nights she regularly hosts at her Tennessee home — evenings that feature not only food, but also jam sessions between dinner guests like Tommy Emmanuel, Keb’ Mo’, and Sam Bush — to her weekly livestream, &#8220;Wine Down Wednesday.&#8221; Launched in 2020, those livestreams strengthened Suzy&#8217;s bond with her audience during the Covid era, giving her the inspiration and confidence to create her newest album, Prayin&#8217; For Sunshine.

&#8220;This is the first time I&#8217;ve written my whole album,&#8221; says Suzy, who found herself at home in 2020, her touring schedule brought to a halt by the pandemic. The previous years had found her releasing themed records like American Folk Songbook (a collection of folk standards) and Lucky (a tribute to Merle Haggard). Both albums were well-received, but Suzy couldn&#8217;t help feeling like something was missing. &#8220;I was asking myself, &#8216;Does anyone really want to hear where I&#8217;m at right now? Then we had the lockdown and I got so close to the people who watched my live streams every week, and I learned that they didn&#8217;t want to just hear the songs they already knew. They wanted new music. All of a sudden, I got the confidence to make a new record of my own songs. It was like someone lit a fire under me.&#8221;

That fire burns brightly on Prayin&#8217; For Sunshine. Recorded at Suzy&#8217;s home, the album offers a mix of southern storytelling, gorgeous vocals, and organic instrumentation that showcases her country and Americana roots. It&#8217;s an eclectic and emotional project, with Suzy&#8217;s sharp songwriting balanced by spontaneous performances from the band.

Initially, Suzy worked on Prayin&#8217; For Sunshine alone. &#8220;I played the songs on my guitar and focused on marrying the lyric to the melody,&#8221; she remembers. &#8220;Since every song was mine, I could arrange them however I wanted. When the band came over, I already knew exactly what I wanted to do with the songs, and I let the band fit themselves around me. It was such a new process for me, to have the tracks built around my performance…it was a real band vibe.&#8221;
It was a real family vibe, too, not unlike the atmosphere created by the soup nights Suzy has been hosting for the past decade. Those evenings are celebrated in her new cookbook, Suzy&#8217;s Soup Night, which pairs recipes with photos from her husband, songwriter Doug Crider. In the book&#8217;s intro, Suzy describes her get-togethers as times when &#8220;my home is filled with the joy of some of the best musicians in the world spontaneously playing together, friends laughing, and a big pot of soup on the stove at the center, bringing us together.&#8221; Although Suzy&#8217;s Soup Night and Prayin&#8217; For Sunshine are two separate projects, they&#8217;re bound together by a shared appreciation for the good stuff: music, storytelling, community, and the connections we make on our shared journey.

&#8220;I&#8217;m feeling revitalized!&#8221; Suzy says. “I feel so present in my live shows now, in a way I haven’t in years. I love playing my old songs, but I have new things to share, too. I called the album Prayin&#8217; For Sunshine because I&#8217;ve always been an optimistic person, and there&#8217;s a need to be hopeful right now. I feel like the lockdown brought performers and their audiences closer than ever. People really reached out to one another, and there&#8217;s something heartening about all of us looking at things a little bit differently. There&#8217;s so much turmoil in the world right now, but I&#8217;ve found a community of people who can agree on things that really count, like music.&#8221;

Front porch melodies and lyrics grown out of the rocky topsoil of Eastern Kentucky’s Appalachian Mountains intertwine Sundy Best’s roots into the songs they sing. They are storytellers, musicians, friends, and the impetus of the ‘kin folk movement’ that organically connects a strong music-loving family that believes in solid, real and relatable songs.
They are crowd rockers and party starters. The band’s visceral sound and incredible live shows have gained them a loyal following of dedicated fans from the hills and hollers of Appalachia, all the way to the bustling one-way streets under downtown city lights across the south. There are mountains in their music- valleys of love lost and missing home, peaks of rowdy Saturday nights and the journey in between.
The guys have been friends since they were in elementary school. They both grew up singing in their church for fun while starring in high school sports in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. After college sports success for both, Kris in basketball, and Nick in football, the friendship continued in music as they began playing patio parties, restaurants and clubs, often playing 4-hour sets each night. Both prolific songwriters, they bring songs to each other and together create their own style and sound. In 2012 they decided to record some of these songs that they self-produced along with their friend and filmmaker Coleman Saunders, and independently released Door Without A Screen that year.
That same year music veteran Van Fletcher caught the buzz and began attending shows and quickly became a fan of the sound, the songs and of Nick and Kris. CMT discovered them early in 2013 and began playing their video “Home.” Entertainment One signed the duo in 2013 and re-released Door Without A Screen, adding seven songs including new ones, as well as fan favorites from their shows. The band ultimately landed 4 albums on the Country Charts before disbanding in 2018. Jamerson continued to release music on his own (and still has a solo project coming out later this year) , but at some point during the pandemic, Sundy Best caught a second wind, began gigging again and released Feel Good Country, which Saving Country Music declared as “​​one of the best-written affairs in 2023 so far, as well as hereafter.”

Sue Foley is a virtual triple threat as a lead guitarist, singer and songwriter. Foley spent her early childhood in Canada, mesmerized by her father’s guitar and started her professional career at sixteen. By twenty-one, she was living in Austin, TX and recording for Antone’s—the esteemed Blues label and historic nightclub that helped launch the career of Stevie Ray Vaughan. Foley just won the Blues Music Award for Traditional Blues Female Artist (Koko Taylor Award) in Memphis TN — an award she also won in 2022 and 2020. She was also recently honored with Guitarist of the Year and Blues Act of the Year at the 2023 Austin Music Awards, and Guitarist of the Year at the 2023 Maple Blues Awards.
Her latest album, Pinky’s Blues took home Best Traditional Blues Album at the 2022 Blues Music Awards. Foley has toured steadily with her band, working and sharing the stage with greats such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan and Billy F Gibbons. She is the only female member of the famed Jungle Show which features Gibbons, Vaughan, B3 virtuoso Mike Flanigin and Chris ‘Whipper’ Layton. Her live shows are high energy, guitar-driven and steeped in the Texas blues sound she was schooled in.

Ray Wylie Hubbard is the secret handshake amongst those who know. Earthy, real, funky, unabashed, his records have been swapped and played on the road by everyone from Blackberry Smoke and Georgia Satellites to Black Stone Cherry. “Snake Farm” alone could be the red-blooded touring male’s reality-based point of connection.
That passion for the man who’s as much a renegade poet as a roadhouse saint brought together an eclectic mix of guests for Co-Starring, his first ever high-profile label release. Ringo Starr, Joe Walsh, the Black Crowes’ Chris Robinson, Ronnie Dunn, Don Was, Larkin Poe, Pam Tillis and The Cadillac Three were just a few who clamored to jam, sing and generally be in the studio with the wizened icon.
The Austin Music and Eric Church-inducted Texas Heritage Songwriters Hall of Famer was born in Soper, Oklahoma, went to high school with cosmic cowboy Michael Martin Murphey and spent his summers playing folk music in Red River, New Mexico. It all added to an iconoclastic, hell-bent for truths and textures in writing about the way outlaws live – and added to his outlier bona fides that he made 16 albums without ever signing to a major label.
That’s all about to change for the go-to songwriter for Lucinda Williams, Hayes Carll, Pat Green, Jerry Jeff Walker, Waylon Jennings, Slaid Cleaves and Willie Nelson. Whether it’s bluegrass/folk legend Peter Rowan on the tender “Hummingbird,” emerging Nashville renegade Ashley McBryde on the tough girl homage “Outlaw Blood,” SiriusXM femme fatales Paula Nelson and Elizabeth Cook on the randy “Drink ‘Til I See Double” or the trippy rocker Aaron Lee Tasjan on the elegiac “Rock Gods,” Co-Starring is a supple, musky affair.
