About Pedal Steel Noah
A 16-year-old musician based in Austin, Noah Faulkner has won hearts with his daily Instagram videos, which feature him covering ‘80s and ‘90s hits on pedal steel. His brother plays bass, and their dog Kara looks on. Texas Monthly recently featured Noah for their “Best Thing In Texas” series, saying, “In an Austin revival of a traditionally Nashville sound, Faulkner brings the sliding notes and deep vibrato of pedal steel to his Gen Z peers.”
His impressive fan base includes an influential list of supporters and followers including R.E.M., Johnny Marr of the Smiths, Peter Hook of New Order, Frank Black of Pixies, designer Todd Oldham, Jenny Lewis, Big Thief, Jason Lee, Neko Case, and many more. “Pedal Steel Noah and Barefoot Nate are tight!” exclaims Jason Lytle of Grandaddy. “So good! Maybe even dog whisperers!” And the Polyphonic Spree’s Tim DeLaughter says, “This new Pedal Steel Noah EP manages to reimagine classics with just enough nostalgia through the familiar melodies, and chill enough while putting the soul of Texas in the air. I love it!”
At the age of 9, Noah taught himself the basics of piano and began formal study with Terry Allen’s son, the musician Bukka Allen, at age 10. After Bukka introduced him to the Texas music legend Lloyd Maines, Noah’s interest turned to pedal steel. Maines helped Noah find his first pedal steel and gave him his first—and only—lesson. From there, Noah taught himself by watching videos of Maines and Buddy Emmons and by listening to other country music legends. On October 15, 2022, he posted his first pedal steel video to Instagram, with the subject #pedalsteelguitar is life. He has posted regularly since then, offering his own interpretations of songs by Devo, George Strait, Thompson Twins, My Bloody Valentine, Peter Gabriel, Willie Nelson, and Fleetwood Mac, among many others. His Instagram fanbase has ballooned to more than 70,000 followers.
Noah has been featured in the New York Times, Austin Chronicle, Rolling Stone, Guitar World, American Songwriter, Texas Monthly and on NPR.
Pedal Steel Noah will make his Grand Ole Opry debut in August.

Everybody loves a comeback and the resurgence of the 90’s country would not be complete without McBride &amp; The Ride triumphantly bursting back onto the scene. The original line up of Ray Herndon (vocals/guitar), Terry McBride (vocals/bass) and Billy Thomas (vocals/drums) have been in the studio recording new music and will take the stage to introduce fans to the new songs as well as delight them with the classics
The brainchild of legendary producer Tony Brown, then head of MCA Records, Brown made the introductions and the magic started happening right from their very first rehearsal. “Tony put the three of us together but had no idea that the harmony would be what it is. That was a surprise to all of us,” Herndon recalls of that first breathtaking blending of their voices.
The band garnered ACM and CMA nominations and released three acclaimed albums on MCA Records, Burnin’ Up The Road, Sacred Ground, and Hurry Sundown, spawning hit singles like &#8220;Love on the Loose, Heart on the Run,&#8221; “Sacred Ground,” &#8220;Going Out of My Mind,&#8221; “Just One Night.” Ultimately the band would produce 11 hits on the Billboard Country charts, including 5 Top-Five, before ​disbanding.
Over the last two decades, the three principles have thrived in their individual careers. Herndon has been Lyle Lovett’s lead guitarist since 1985 and has had songs cut by Kenny Chesney, Aaron Tippin, Lee Greenwood, Linda Davis and more. He continues to operate his family’s historic club, Handlebar J, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
McBride has had his songs recorded over 100 times, writing hits for Brooks &amp; Dunn, Reba McEntire, Easton Corbin, Cody Johnson and more. He toured with Brooks &amp; Dunn through most of their biggest years playing bass and writing songs.
Thomas moved to Nashville from Los Angeles in 1987 and immediately started working with Vince Gill along with many other country stars (Emmylou Harris, Patty Loveless, Steve Wariner &amp; Earl Scruggs). He’s continued as Gill’s singing drummer on the road and in the studio ever since, adding background vocals to many of his hits. In 2010 Thomas joined the Grammy-nominated Western Swing band, The Time Jumpers. You can catch him most Monday nights with them in Music City.
In 2023 the guys reunited to cut the EP Marlboros &amp; Avon, their first new music in nearly 30 years. The trio agrees that one of the most exciting parts of their relaunch is that they will be able to share their music with a whole new generation of country fans. “I believe we can be terrific ambassadors for that period of country music while again making an impact on the format,” Thomas shares. Much like neon, real country music, and denim-everything, the 90s are back. “It’s always been easy making music with Ray and Terry. Times have changed, but our fans haven’t. I still run into folks who caught our live show back in the 90s and rave about their experiences. I’m excited to ride again!”

About Jeff Hyde
A native of Marshall, Texas and raised on sounds of artists such as Keith Whitley, Tom T. Hall, and The Statler Brothers, Jeff Hyde moved to Nashville to pursue music in 2001. He quickly established himself as one of Music City’s busiest and best songwriters, penning numerous Country hits, including Eric Church&#8217;s chart-topping singles &#8220;Springsteen,&#8221; &#8220;Record Year&#8221; and “Round Here Buzz.” A long line of artists including Alan Jackson, George Strait, Bobby Bare, Luke Bryan, Charlie Worsham, Nikki Lane and Becky Buller have also put their own stamp on his songs. In 2018 he released his first solo album “Norman Rockwell World.”

CHUCK MEAD is a Country singer with a rock n roll heart. He’s also a renowned songwriter, producer, music director, musicologist and architect behind the rebirth of Lower Broadway and the Global Neo Traditional Country music movement.
This Kansas native, has been at the forefront of what has come to be known as Americana Music for the better part of 25 years. Perhaps best known for co-founding the famed ‘90s Alternative Country quintet, BR5-49, whose 7 albums garnered a CMA Award for Best International Touring Act and three Grammy nominations, helped build an indelible bridge between authentic American Roots music and millions of fans worldwide.
Since then he’s toured the globe, entertained thousands on the high seas, released 4 solo albums, made 137 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, co-produced critically acclaimed tribute albums to Johnny Cash &amp; Waylon Jennings, acted as Musical Director, Supervisor, and Producer of the Broadway hit musical Million Dollar Quartet and the companion CMT television show Sun Records. About Dash Rip Rock
Dash Rip Rock is the legendary New Orleans trio known for high-octane roots rock. The New York Times says Dash Rip Rock combines “fluency in American roots music with a robust dose of punk-rock spirit.” SPIN praises Dash Rip Rock as “undeniably the South’s greatest rock band.” In 2012 Dash Rip Rock was honored to be inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
Dash Rip Rock has long been celebrated for tight musicianship, high-energy live shows, and songs of raw insolence and longing that are sometimes cut with whimsy. Bill Davis, Dash Rip Rock’s founder and frontman, is a songwriter known for his blistering guitar work. For over 20 years, the band has amassed a loyal, diverse following. The wide tent of their cross-genre fan base includes aficionados of rock, roots-rock and Americana as well as rockabilly, country, and punk fans. DRR has released 17 records that have been hailed as underground classics.
Bill Davis started the band, and DRR was first signed to 688 and then Mammoth Records. In the ’90s Dash Rip Rock scored a national radio hit, “Let’s Go Smoke Some Pot.” This tongue-in-cheek classic is still played religiously over FM airwaves on counterculture feast days and covered regularly by major rock acts. This Louisiana-based band’s latest records are on Jello Biafra’s Alternative Tentacles label in San Francisco and Drag Snake Records in New Orleans.
Dash Rip Rock tours extensively and headlines numerous clubs, festivals, and roots listening rooms. Dash Rip Rock has toured with Reverend Horton Heat and The Cramps and has shared the stage with The Ramones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Lou Reed, The Replacements, No Doubt, the Circle Jerks, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, Black Crowes, Joe Ely and countless others, at times playing up to 250 shows a year. In 2010 Dash Rip Rock’s song “Johnny Ace” was featured in the hit video game Rock Band. Bill Davis also appeared in the 2011 documentary Outside Industry: The Story of SXSW.
Bill Davis, founder, lead guitarist and vocalist and songwriter of Dash Rip Rock is often credited as a pioneer of &#8220;country punk,&#8221; &#8220;cowpunk,&#8221; and alt-country music that combines elements of rock with country and outlaw country. DRR&#8217;s latest album &#8220;Cherchez La Femme&#8221; was released by Drag Snake Records in the fall of 2021.
About Laid Back Country Picker
The night Laid Back’s high school classmates went on their senior trip, he played his first professional bar gig. It was not his first show, as he had played bass in local bluegrass bands, but it opened the door to smoky bars and honky-tonk survival. Over the years he went on to perform and record with many well-known artists, often uncredited, as was the Nashville way.
He has played with everyone from the Georgia Satellites to the Kentucky Headhunters, opening for Thin Lizzy and The Guess Who, recording at Johnny Cash’s studio as well as the now defunct Butcher Shoppe in Nashville (owned by John Prince and Sturgill Simpson) Laid Back has seen some things. He served as a mentor to a young Tyler Childers, who now has Laid Back signed on his Hickman Holler label. Mr. Childers has made several films with LB and included him in his music videos, as well as having him open a CD release show in New York City and open his sets at the Ryman Auditorium and Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Over the years Laid Back has honed his craft and played simply for the love of the music. His no rules approach to musical performance flies in the face of those who prefer their music to fit neatly into category. Equal parts Led Zeppelin, Waylon Jennings, Stanley Brothers, David Bowie and Motorhead, and that’s just the beginning. Laid Back is a product of the 1970s when lines were often blurred. He doesn’t care what you call it, he just wants you to feel it. Attentive to the audience and ready for conversation, a Laid Back show is an interactive lesson on music, pop culture and whatever else is on his mind that day.
Whether he is playing with his full band or grinding out heavy guitar riffs with his companion Honey on drums in the White Stripes-inspired duo, you leave the concert knowing you have seen a show.

Casey Beathard began his music career in Nashville singing demos for Hall of Fame writer Don Schlitz. After starting to concentrate on his songwriting, Casey scored the title cut on Kenny Chesney’s album, “I Will Stand” and then the single “Right Where I Need To Be” by Gary Allan. Since then Casey’s had over 10 #1 hits from artists such as Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker, Justin Moore, Tracy Lawrence and more. He’s also written other big songs for Tim McGraw, George Strait, Billy Currington, Chris Stapleton, Scotty McCreery, Jake Owen and many others. Casey has been named BMI’s “Songwriter of the Year” three times and won his first Grammy in 2021.

Tucker Beathard
Tucker Beathard may come from a family who is well-known in Nashville &#8212; his father Casey penned hits for Kenny Chesney, George Strait, and Tim McGraw &#8212; but he doesn&#8217;t quite fit into the conventional confines of the Music City. Drawing from arena rock almost as much as he does from country, Beathard often sounds like the social media-savvy son of Eric Church &#8212; which isn&#8217;t a stretch, considering that his dad co-wrote several hits with Church, including the 2011 number one &#8220;Homeboy,&#8221; which was reportedly written with the teenage Tucker in mind. This blend of old-fashioned musical values and youthful attitude was showcased on Beathard&#8217;s first album, 2018&#8217;s Nobody&#8217;s Everything.
Born and raised in Nashville, Beathard is the son of Casey Beathard, who himself was the son of country songwriter Bobby Beathard, who was the general manager for the NFL team the Washington Redskins in the &#8217;80s.
Beathard self-released an EP called The Demos, Vol. 1 in 2015. The next year, Big Machine signed him to their Dot Records subsidiary, releasing the single &#8220;Rock On&#8221; that March. By October, it had reached number two on Billboard&#8217;s Country Airplay charts, paving the way for the release of the Fight Like Hell EP. The EP peaked at 14 on Billboard&#8217;s charts, but instead of launching a successful album campaign, this was Beathard&#8217;s high point with Big Machine. A second single, &#8220;Momma and Jesus,&#8221; stalled at 43 on the Country Airplay charts, then the Dot imprint folded, leading Big Machine to scrap the planned 2017 release of the full-length Dear Someone. Beathard and Big Machine entered a protracted negotiation to part ways, leading to his departure in 2018. He quickly signed with Warner Nashville, which released his debut album Nobody&#8217;s Everything &#8212; which was the first installment of a projected double album &#8212; on their Mother Tucker subsidiary in November 2018. King, the second installment of his debut, followed in 2020.

Throughout his 30+ year career, Dan Tyminski has left his mark in every corner of modern 
music. Tyminski’s voice famously accompanies George Clooney’s performance of the Stanley 
Brother’s classic song, “I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow,” in the film, Oh Brother, Where Art 
Thou, bringing bluegrass into focus for millions of new fans. His vocal collaboration with Swedish DJ Avicii on the song “Hey, Brother” was a global smash, having been streamed over 1 billion times to date.
Dan has also contributed guitar and/or harmony to projects by Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, 
Brad Paisley, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, LeAnn Rimes, Aaron Lewis and Rob 
Thomas, to name a few. In addition to his highly successful solo career, Dan has played guitar and mandolin for Alison Krauss &amp; Union Station since 1994. His unmatched instrumental skills and burnished, soulful tenor voice have been key components of the band.
He has been honored with 14 Grammy Awards, was named Male Vocalist of the Year by the 
International Bluegrass Music Association 4 times and was recognized as 2004’s Male Vocalist of the Year by the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music in America.
In 2022, Tyminski released the EP &#8220;One More Time Before You Go: A Tribute to Tony Rice&#8221; 
featuring guest appearances by Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Jerry Douglas, Todd Phillips, Sam 
Bush, Dailey &amp; Vincent.
Tyminski’s newest full-length album &#8220;God Fearing Heathen&#8221; was released on June 23, 2023.
From the tender age of three, Ronnie Bowman has been performing music. Starting in a family band playing churches in North Carolina and Virginia, he eventually joined the acclaimed Bluegrass band The Lost &amp; Found. Shortly after Ronnie joined The Lonesome River Band, and became a participant in the band’s recording of Carrying the Tradition, which was ultimately named International Bluegrass Music Association’s (IBMA) Album of the Year in 1991.
It wasn&#8217;t long before Ronnie Bowman became a household name in the Bluegrass community. With the release of an additional four albums as a member of the Lonesome River Band, Ronnie also recorded four solo projects. He has been awarded IBMA Male Vocalist of the Year three times, has twice earned the IBMA Song of the Year award and was awarded the Gospel Performance of the Year award for &#8220;Three Rusty Nails&#8221;. As a song writer Ronnie has earned a great deal of respect not only among Bluegrass professionals but also in Country Music. Both Brooks &amp; Dunn, and Kenny Chesney have brought Ronnie Bowman originals to #1, and Lee Ann Womack also included a song by Ronnie on the multi-platinum-selling album &#8220;I Hope You Dance&#8221;.
​He has seen continued songwriting success with three songs on Chris Stapleton&#8217;s multi-platinum-selling album, Traveller. The single &#8220;Nobody To Blame&#8221; won Ronnie the ACM &#8220;Song of the Year,” while the album received the ACM and CMA &#8220;Album of the Year&#8221; award, as well as a Grammy for &#8220;Country Album of the Year&#8221;.
As a vocalist, Ronnie has recorded with various artists including, Alan Jackson, Alison Krauss, Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Lee Ann Womack, Del McCoury, Chris Stapleton, and John Fogerty to name a few. When Ronnie’s not on the road performing, he resides in Nashville,TN where he’s still writing songs and living the life.
Songwriter, artist and entrepreneur Kevin MaC jump-started his music career in 2014 with an L.A. publishing deal. Kevin has since honed his craft, and his performance skills, having since written with legendary Nashville hit-makers Keith Stegall and Buddy Cannon, Grammy award-winning songwriters Wyatt Durrette and Levi Lower and even with “young blood” tunesmiths who’ve penned hits for Zac Brown Band, Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Alan Jackson. Kevin has shared the stage with a variety of artists, including Kenny Chesney, Trace Adkins, Rascal Flatts, Kip Moore, and The Band Perry.
The ever-evolving MaC is the co-founder of Tik Pik (“the pick that sticks” as seen on Shark Tank) as well as Elsie Marshall Shotgun Granny Whiskey and hosts a bi-weekly songwriters round at Eric Church’s new venue, Chief’s On Broadway.

Honoring the man and his music Waymore’s Outlaws consists of former members of Waylon Jennings recording and touring band, The Waylors, including Jerry “Jigger” Bridges on bass, Barny Robertson on keys, Carter Robertson on vocals, Jeff Hale on drums and steel guitarist Fred Newell. Collectively, the band performed on the recordings of Waylon’s megahits such as “I Ain’t Living Long Like This,” the Dukes of Hazzard “Good Ol’ Boys” theme, “Luckenbach Texas” and “Rainy Day Woman,” as well as countless other gold and platinum hits. Lead guitarist and singer Tommy Townsend adds to their mix of Outlaw music. Waymore’s Outlaws are keeping the spirit of Waylon Jennings and his music alive today.
Jerry “Jigger” Bridges, who spent a little over two decades out on the road with Waylon, plays bass for Waymore’s Outlaws. A native of Red Bay, Alabama, Jigger was strongly influenced by the R&amp;B emerging from nearby Muscle Shoals. Following a four-year stint as a staff musician at FAME Recording Studio, he moved to Nashville and began working with Waylon on the “Dukes of Hazzard” soundtrack. After his contributing bass work on Waylon’s Greatest Hits album, Richie and Waylon asked Jigger to join The Waylors on the road. GRAMMY Award-winning producer, arranger, and engineer Barny Robertson played keys for Waylon for many years and has produced and arranged over 50 albums. As an in-demand session player, he received the “Nashville Super Picker Award.” He has been nominated for three Dove Awards and in 1992 won a Grammy Award for producing “A Cappella Kids.” Instantly recognizable artist and vocalist 
Carter Robertson holds the distinction of being the only female member of Waylon’s band. She backed up both Waylon and his wife, Jessi Colter, on stage and in the studio. Her recording credits include Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Don Was and many others.
Fred Newell is a veteran of the Nashville studio scene who has recorded with everyone from Ray Charles to George Strait. In addition to being the staff lead guitarist on numerous TV shows, he is respected worldwide for his ability to generate feeling and sounds out of his instruments that many struggle to emulate. The first country guitarist to ever receive an endorsement from Marshall Amplifiers, Newell is a guitar legend in many circles. Fred joined Waylon’s touring band on pedal steel during the 90s after the late and legendary Ralph Mooney retired from the road.
Jeff Hale has immense touring and recording experience. While playing drums in the lounges of Memphis and attending Memphis State University, Jeff began touring and recording with Tony Joe White after Tony heard some demo recordings Jeff did with Stax Records. The songwriting connection between Tony Joe White and Waylon led to Waylon making Jeff a permanent fixture in his band, where he spent the next fourteen years honing his skills and learning every aspect of the music business from the undisputed “rebel” of outlaw country music. Jeff received recognition from Modern Drummer magazine for “Best Country Drummer” and through the years has shared the stage with many artists.
Tommy Townsend, the band’s lead guitarist and singer, is a native of Blairsville, Georgia. Waylon was a pivotal force in Townsend’s life, as Tommy had the distinction of being mentored by Waylon in his youth. The two collaborated several times over the years, with Waylon playing guitar and singing harmony on some tracks and co-producing an album on Tommy with Jerry Bridges. Waylon and his band took Tommy under their wings recording in the studio and occasionally out for appearances on the road. As a songwriter, Tommy co-wrote three of the songs on Waymore’s Outlaws CD, Same Ol’ Outlaws, which was the first of three albums released by the band.
No biography about Waylon Jennings or any of his band configurations is compete without mentioning the late Richie Albright. Waylon’s original drummer, longtime friend, and right-hand man joined Waylon and The Waylors in 1964, and he was the steadfast drummer for Waymore’s Outlaws until his passing in 2021. Richie not only toured and recorded with Waylon for decades but produced or co-produced many of Waylon’s records that are still being played on radio today. In the world of country music Richie not only made history as a drummer, songwriter, and producer, he was immortalized in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s Nashville Cats exhibit in 2019. The list of artists he played and/or recorded with is a long one, including Jessi Colter, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr, Tony Joe White, and Goose Creek Symphony.

Driver is no stranger to Music City. Originally from Nashville and raised in a musical family, he is a songwriter by day and touring musician by night. Erik Dylan
Erik Dylan has a story to tell. It is what attracted artists like Kip Moore, Luke Combs, Eric Paslay, Eli Young Band, Justin Moore, Josh Phillips, Brent Cobb, Riley Green and even Hinder to record his songs. It is also what drew peermusic to sign him to a publishing deal in 2017. He writes on Music Row with many of Nashville’s hit-makers, but Erik will gladly tell anyone that his happiest moments in songwriting occurred at his hero Guy Clark’s workshop over black coffee.
It’s not just his country colleagues that own a room with his sounds. The fifth-generation Kansan has shared stages with some of the biggest names in music, from Lynyrd Skynyrd to The Cadillac Three. “If I drive ten hours in one direction to play a show and drive ten hours back that night to get back to my family, those forty-five minutes on stage have to count,” he says.
Erik’s “JJ’s Market” was named one of American Songwriter’s Top 20 Songs of 2020, and his full-length projects include his 2016 debut album Heart of a Flatland Boy, featuring the underground classic “Fishing Alone”, and the follow-up Baseball on the Moon (2018), which features duets with Steve Earle and Luke Combs. “Map Dot Town” &amp; Erik’s rendition of “Whiskey Lullaby” were featured on Netflix, The Ranch.

Jake Hoot made the leap from local Tennessee singer/songwriter to mainstream country artist after being crowned the season 17 winner of the popular American talent competition The Voice. He entered the 17th season of The Voice in 2019 and in his audition impressed the judges, specifically Kelly Clarkson, with his rendition of Luke Combs&#8217; &#8220;When It Rains It Pours.&#8221; After joining team Kelly, Hoot navigated his way to the finale, where he performed his own original song &#8220;Better Off Without You.&#8221; After taking home the top prize, Hoot released the song, which ultimately peaked at number 36 on the Billboard Country singles chart. He made his Grand Ole Opry debut on February 4, 2020.

About Tom Douglas
Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated Tom Douglas, is proposing a residency of his popular one-man show Love, Tom, where he shares stories and some of his famed songs.
Douglas’ hit-making career began with his Collin Raye hit “Little Rock,” a 1994 CMA Song of the Year nominee. Douglas was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2014. His acceptance speech grew to such popularity that Douglas began writing a one-man show, with his son Tommy, and then a documentary based on the speech. The show, Love, Tom is now available on Apple TV and Amazon streaming services.
Tom&#8217;s performance storytelling opens with the titular writer fielding correspondence from a discouraged tunesmith. “Not too long ago I received a letter; a letter from a desperate young songwriter asking for advice,” Douglas recounts. From there, the performance is off and running and talking, to be precise.
All the while, he’s talking, explaining with poetic flourish the art of songwriting as it relates to his own life. “They say you write about what you know,” he says. “I’m telling you my story not because it’s the best one, it’s just the one that I know the best.”
In between his oration, Douglas pauses to perform some of his songs, “I Run to You,” cut by Lady A, croons “My Little Girl,” recorded by Tim McGraw, and, in the showstopper, plays his biggest hit, Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me.”
The origin of “The House That Built Me” is a high point of Love, Tom, with Douglas recalling how his co-writer Allen Shamblin spoke those five words to him over breakfast in the summer of 2002. At that moment, he says, “the earth tilted on its axis, the forks were suspended in mid-air, the water froze in the pitcher — that’s the power of a good idea.” Douglas made Shamblin swear he wouldn’t repeat the title again until they could convene in a writing room. When they did, the result was a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year.

Whether you’ve heard her hosting SiriusXM’s Y2Kountry, hosting a festival or performing for her fans, Danielle has established herself as a multifaceted talent in the music industry.
An accomplished recording artist and performer, Danielle knows of which she speaks, having traveled that path on the way to completing How Freedom Feels, her third studio album, soon to be released. No stranger to country fans, she’s enjoyed chart success with songs including “I Don’t,” “Findin’ A Good Man” and “Isn’t That Everything,” and has cultivated a loyal fan base on the road, performing hundreds of shows both as a headliner and in support of country music’s biggest names. But while music has driven her life since childhood, it’s only recently that she’s centered it in a deeply personal place.
“When I first came to town I had been writing songs by myself and performing them on the road,” she explains of early years with her Ohio-based band. “When I got to Nashville the big thing was co-writing, so I had to learn how to write with someone else. I felt like I always had to have 10 ideas and was always writing toward the catchy song, the clever turn of phrase, something I thought radio would want. It wasn’t so much about what was inside of me, where I was at or what I believed. A lot of the songs I wrote back then are great, but I’ve learned to let go of some of that and write from a more personal perspective.”
Not only has her writing style evolved into the artist she is today, but she has utilized her talents in other areas. When she’s not performing shows, you can hear her every weekday as the host of SiriusXM’s Y2Kountry Channel 61, where she gets to play some of her favorite music by her friends, but also gets to share some of the good stories from years of touring with fellow Y2K artists. Additionally, she has hosted several Y2Kountry Specials featuring artists such as Sara Evans, Rodney Atkins, Randy Houser and Gretchen Wilson. Many of you have seen Joanna Cotten performing alongside Eric Church somewhere on the road between the Outsiders tour and the Gather Again tour. Joanna Cotten is Memphis born, Arkansas raised and Juilliard trained. She has known what she wanted to do her entire life, which is sing for people and she has done just that.
Joanna started studying voice at the age of 5 in Arkansas and at age 10 she studied at Rhodes College Music Academy, which eventually led her to accept a full scholarship to The Juilliard School. Joanna quickly realized that her love for other genres of music besides opera had a great pull on her heart and she moved to Nashville to pursue her musical dreams. She got signed to EMI Music Publishing where Joanna went on to have cuts by LeAnn Rimes, Leona Lewis and Danny Gokey. She signed an artist deal with Warner Bros. and recorded a debut solo record.
After maneuvering through a few broken dreams, Joanna’s solo album was never released but she moved on to singing on other artists&#8217; records including Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, The Black Crowes, Brantley Gilbert and Eric Church. Joanna has sung on every record but two with Eric and went on to tour with him live for 8 years. She is currently going back to her true heart and working on a new endeavor with her solo music.

At any given time, you’re likely to find Jim Lauderdale making music, whether he’s laying down a new track in the studio or working through a spontaneous melody at his home in Nashville. And if he’s not actively crafting new music, he’s certainly thinking about it. “It&#8217;s a constant challenge to try to keep making better and better records, write better and better songs. I still always feel like I&#8217;m a developing artist,” he says. This may be a surprising sentiment from a man who’s won two Grammys and 14 AMAs, released 34 full-length albums, and taken home the Americana Music Association’s coveted Wagonmaster Award. But forthcoming album Game Changer is convincing evidence that the North Carolina native is only continuing to hone his craft.
He’s been a vital part of the country music ecosystem since 1991, when he released his debut album and began penning songs for an impressively long roster of country music greats. “When I was a teenager wanting to be a bluegrass banjo player, I never would have imagined that I would get to work with people like Ralph Stanley, Robert Hunter, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello, Lucinda Williams and John Oates ,” he muses. “Getting to work with them inspires me greatly to this day, and I know it always will.”
Jim has penned songs for a variety of artists, including George Strait (9 total), Blake Shelton, Patty Loveless, Lee Ann Wommack, Vince Gill, Mark Chestnutt, Elvis Costello, The Chicks and Gary Allen. He’s collaborated with Dr. Ralph Stanley, Robert Hunter, North Mississippi All-Stars, Nick Lowe, legendary mandolin master Roland White and fellow Nashville songwriting titan Buddy Miller, with whom he’s cohosted The Buddy &amp; Jim Radio Show, broadcast on Sirius XM Outlaw Country since 2012.

Recently inducted to the East Tennessee Writers Hall of Fame, fiery roots-rock singer/songwriter Scott Miller returned to his native Virginia to tend the family farm while continuing to release and perform new music informed by that rural area, history, and Appalachia. About Maggie
Born and raised in Richmond, VA, Antone has been hailed by several as a bold new voice on the rise in alternative country. Her cover of Tyler Childers’ “Lady May” won her instant attention, and Interpretations, a follow up collection of covers including Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” John Prine’s “Spanish Pipe Dream” and more, was released in late 2022 to early acclaim. 
A songwriter since the age of 16, Antone has made music her full-time job since leaving college in late 2021. She is determined to make music that connects with people and write songs that make audiences feel seen and heard, a quality she deeply admires in the artists that have so inspired her to choose this path. Antone’s first new music of 2024 “I Don’t Wanna Hear About It” followed a landmark year for the vocalist, songwriter and producer. Antone released a string of singles including the much lauded “Suburban Outlaw” and played shows to a fan-base across Nashville and beyond. Her recent single release “Johnny Moonshine” followed viral content on Instagram and TikTok with fans begging to hear the full version. More shows, tours and festivals are planned for 2024 with plans of more music to come.

About Ashley
Working as both a solo artist and as a member of Pistol Annies, Ashley Monroe illustrated how fluid and flexible contemporary country could be in the 2010s and 2020s. Before Pistol Annies, a group Miranda Lambert instigated in 2011, Monroe had worked behind the scenes in Nashville, toiling away at a debut that didn&#8217;t get a fair shot and writing songs, including several on Lambert&#8217;s 2009 album Revolution. After the Annies came bursting out of the gates with Hell on Heels in 2011, Monroe got the chance to run free on her own, an opportunity she seized with 2013&#8217;s Like a Rose, a record that played upon traditional country songs. As the decade progressed, Monroe became more adventurous, alternating 2018&#8217;s warm, sumptuous Sparrow with 2021&#8217;s Rosegold, an electronic pop album she produced herself.
Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Monroe was raised in a family with a great love for country music — she&#8217;s kin to Carl Smith and members of the Carter Family on her father&#8217;s side — and she developed a passion for music at an early age, taking her first piano lessons when she was only seven. At age 11, Monroe won a talent contest in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (home to Dolly Parton&#8217;s Dollywood), singing Patsy Montana&#8217;s Western classic &#8220;I Want to Be a Cowboy&#8217;s Sweetheart&#8221;; she brought home a $100 prize and was soon a regular performer at a theater in Pigeon Forge. However, Monroe&#8217;s world was turned upside down when her father died in early 2000, and the 13-year-old wrote songs to help her deal with the tragedy.
A few years later, Monroe began making trips to Nashville to perform her music in clubs along the fabled Lower Broadway district, and before long she pulled up stakes and moved to Music City. While her youth led to a certain degree of resistance from record labels and publishing houses in Nashville, her music impressed manager Clarence Spalding, who signed her as a client and began shopping her talents around town. While an initial major-label development deal went sour, Monroe&#8217;s music found an appreciative ear at Columbia Records in 2006, and she teamed up with producer Mark Wright (whose clients include Clint Black, Gretchen Wilson, and Los Lonely Boys) to record her first album. An advance single from the album, &#8220;Satisfied,&#8221; didn&#8217;t perform well on country radio, nor did a second single. Monroe&#8217;s album &#8212; also called Satisfied — appeared briefly as a digital release to little attention and all plans for a physical release were scrapped.
All the problems with Satisfied led to Monroe and Columbia separating in 2007. Over the next few years, Monroe worked behind the scenes as both a songwriter and singer, having tunes appear on albums by Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert while often singing sessions at Jack White&#8217;s Third Man Records. Lambert turned out to be a pivotal connection for Monroe. The two became friends and, along with Angaleena Presley, formed Pistol Annies, whose 2011 eponymous debut became a significant hit. The success of Pistol Annies revived Monroe&#8217;s solo career. She signed with Warner, teamed up with producer Vince Gill, and released the album Like a Rose in March of 2013. The single &#8220;Weed Instead of Roses&#8221; brushed the country Top 40. Monroe also featured prominently on Pistol Annies&#8217; second album, Annie Up, released in May 2013; she had a hand in writing ten of the 12 songs.
Monroe kept the hits coming when her duet with Blake Shelton on Shelton&#8217;s &#8220;Lonely Tonight&#8221; hit number two the following year. Her third album, The Blade, arrived in July 2015, with Vince Gill returning to produce; the album debuted at number two on Billboard&#8217;s Country Albums chart. Monroe worked with producer Dave Cobb for her 2018 album, Sparrow, which appeared in April 2018. Pistol Annies reunited for their third album, Interstate Gospel, in 2018; it topped Billboard&#8217;s Country charts upon its November release. Monroe returned to her solo career in 2021 with the electronic-glazed Rosegold, her first independent album, which was distributed through Thirty Tigers.

Monument Records recording artist ALEX HALL is not only making a name for himself as one of Nashville’s best singer-songwriter/artists, he’s also an incredibly accomplished guitar player. Alex released an EP featuring duets with Vince Gill, Brad Paisley and more in 2021. A debut album “Side Effects of the Heart” was released in the fall of 2023. About Jenna LaMaster
“Country music makes people feel understood,” and that’s what made Northern California native, Jenna LaMaster, fall in love with it. The barrel-racing, western songbird moved from the mountains of CA to TX where she competed on the professional rodeo circuit before moving to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her dream of country music. She arrived with just her grandpa’s guitar, some songs she learned playing for cowboy church, and a job riding cutting horses, but she quickly signed her first publishing deal with Sheltered Music in 2020. While working on her own project, Jenna found time to write songs for other artists and penned her first two major label cuts on Big Loud Record’s recording artist, Ashland Craft with songs, “Your Momma Still Does,” and “Leavin’ You Again.” She has since penned Craft’s latest single, “Danced With The Devil,” along with Kasey Tyndall’s single featuring Dylan Marlowe, “Place For Me,” and Faren Rachel’s single, “Bad Whiskey.” Jenna continues to write and record music in Nashville, TN while working on her debut project. Her first single, “Drunk Thoughts” is out now!

About Clint Daniels
Born in Panama City, Florida, Clint Daniels is an American country music singer and songwriter. He was signed as solo artist with Arista Nashville in 1998. There, Daniels released four songs, two of which charted on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs.
In 2003, Daniels signed to Epic Records but never released an album. Having already co-written his first number-one single for Joe Nichols (Brokenheartsville), he focused his career on songwriting and has been primarily known for his songwriting and performing at showcases nationwide.
As a BMI award-winning songwriter, Daniels has co-written Number One singles for Joe Nichols, Montgomery Gentry (Roll With Me) and most recently, Eric Church (Some Of It). About Steve Williams
Steve Williams started playing solo gigs when he was 16, working in bars. One of his first memories was the night an old drunk guy asked him to play “Me and Bobby McGee.” He did, and the man gave him a dollar. He said, “play it one more time,&#8221; and then gave Steve another dollar. This went on all night (Steve made 19 dollars that night)!
Steve joined an Illinois-based band, Woodrose, at age nineteen and had been writing songs for a couple of years by then. At twenty-two, he hooked up with Arrow Memphis (1976). They were pretty much country-rock based and gigs in the midwest were slim, so they headed to Tucson, Arizona where a friend, John Edwards, offered them a place to stay at his ranch at the foot of the Tucson Mountains. They became the house band at a place called the Stumble Inn and released a self-titled album, Arrow Memphis in 1980.
Steve&#8217;s wife (Terri) and he moved to Austin Texas in 1985 to join “Toby Beau.” They returned a year later when he got an offer to play with the Russ Bono Band. Steve went on to start a new classic rock band called The Blast and after a couple of years of local success, they were asked to be the backup band for a new Atlantic Nashville artist Woody Lee. That’s how he got to Nashville.
Steve wrote a few songs with Woody and that led to him signing my first Publishing deal with Malaco Music Publishing. That was 19 years and 5 publishing deals ago. Steve has been fortunate enough to have had two #1 songs (“Redneck Yacht Club” and “I Get To”) and to have had songs on 3 gold records. Artists who have recorded Steve’s songs include George Strait, Craig Morgan, the Oak Ridge Boys, Thom Shepherd, Buddy Jewell and Bucky Covington.

Driver is no stranger to Music City. Originally from Nashville and raised in a musical family, he is a songwriter by day and touring musician by night. In the songwriting world, Driver is known for his fresh song ideas, tight lyrics, and ability to relate to artists regardless of their genre or musical style. He co-wrote the Eric Church staple, “Smoke A Little Smoke,” and has recent releases on artists like Luke Combs, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Morgan Wallen, Riley Green, Ian Munsick, Hayes Carll, Caylee Hammack, and more. When he isn’t writing on Music Row, Driver is known as the lead guitarist for Grammy award-winning country artist, Eric Church.

About Ray
“When I left Harlem, there was a moment on the way to Nashville, three hours up the road, where I asked, ‘What are you doing? Why are you the way you are?’ Home, everybody I cared about in the world was there&#8230; Even when you have the dream, you have that foundation. But then, I just kept going.”
Ray Fulcher is a lot of things. National Barrel Racing Horse Association 18 and Under Finalist at 12&#8230; Masters of Social Sciences and Education&#8230; University of Georgia Bulldogs football staff, working with the Quarterbacks on the field&#8230; Car Salesman&#8230; ATV Parts &amp; Service Manager&#8230; Son, friend, (ex)boyfriend, music lover&#8230; And he was very good at all of them.
But there was this one thing. Music.
The kid who always turned the radio up when “Ocean Front Property” came on, in spite of his father’s admonition “I can’t think when it’s that loud,” would see Eric Church at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, Georgia &#8212; and a light came on. Alone, no smoke or neon, this artist Fulcher didn’t really know played “Lightning.” 
“There wasn’t a line in that song that I could relate to personally,” marvels the soft-spoken artist. “It’s about a guy on Death Row. But in that moment, every single word I felt. I thought, ‘However he’s doing that, I want to make people feel like that, too.’ Not that I was pursuing the music then, but the power of it just hit me.”
Like a lot of young men poised between youth and grown, Fulcher put together a few duos, the occasional band. They played “Tuesday’s Gone,” “River of Love,” “Let Her Cry,” “For What It’s Worth,” “All Along The Watchtower.” They drank some beer, had some laughs, wrote a few songs, talked to the people. Typical local band stuff, though the tugging at Fulcher never let go.
Even after moving home, he kept playing out, working jobs while he waited for a space to open up at the high school he’d attended. His life was set: teach social studies, coach football. It was the perfect small town life with all the sweetness, roots and dreams. What else was there?
After all, who dreams of 30+ million artist streams without a major label deal? Over 3 billion streams as a songwriter in a few short years? Four #1 singles co-written with one of your best friends? Or playing on some of country music’s biggest tours?
You can’t dream that. Impossible. But you can trust the fire in your gut, or the tugging at that “sensible” part of your brain. Sometimes, you just keep driving. And when you’re Ray Fulcher, who knew exactly one person in Nashville, who saw a musician he’d met once hit Facebook about being in Nashville alone, you let faith take you where dreams can’t imagine.
It was at the Tin Roof, he spied a kid he’d met the night he’d first come to Nashville to record. They’d bonded over loving Eric Church, a shared sense of humor, being outsiders and on fire with the desire to write songs that reached inside people. Striking up a conversation, they became friends, then started writing songs they wanted to hear and couldn’t find anywhere else.
Nashville being Nashville, everyone passed on both young men’s songs. Frustrated, they talked it out between themselves. Fulcher recalls, “We both had enough meetings, sat with enough people who kept saying, ‘You’re not ready&#8230; Keep working&#8230;’ They didn’t know, but we didn’t know either
“I remember us talking, thinking, ‘I don’t know how to play this game, what these people want.’ But we knew inour hearts there were great songs, were songs we wanted to hear. In one way, we were a couple dudes in an apartment, making stuff up, stuff that wasn’t being made. Finally, we decided, ‘If it’s not right, it’s not right. But this is what we’re going to do.’”
Eight of those songs ended up on the 2020 CMA Album of the Year What You See Is What You Get. Eight more ended up on This One’s For You. Four of those songs – “When It Rains It Pours,” “Even Though I’m Leaving,”
“Lovin’ On You” and “Does To Me,” featuring their mutual idol and influence Eric Church – went to #1. 
Listening to his Black River debut Larkin Hill Mixes, the songs are instantly recognizable. Heck, they feel like old favorites from the very first listen. Maybe it’s the influences he grew up on. Maybe it’s the desire to lift people up, let them feel what he’s writing. Or maybe, just maybe, the friendly artist who writes songs of misdirection understands that life is what you make it – and lets his songs take it from there.
“We stuck to our guns, and we were right,” he says now. “Nothing works out like you planned it, but this turned out beyond our dreams. I’m thankful we trusted our sense that the songs we wanted to hear, other people would, too. “I’m just so thankful&#8230; We were right to stick to our guns, and now I get to take my career to the next level. My dream’s never changed, only some of my circumstances are a little different!”
