Brady Seals is a celebrated singer-songwriter with deep musical lineage, sharing roots with Jimmy Seals (Seals & Crofts), Dan Seals, and renowned songwriters Troy and Chuck Seals. Across a career that has sold over 11 million albums, Seals has charted hits in multiple genres while earning major TV, radio, and film placements. His touring life began at 16, but he rose to national prominence as keyboardist and co-lead singer of Little Texas, helping drive the band to platinum success, ACM Vocal Group of the Year, two Grammy nominations, and three #1 hits, “What Might Have Been,” “God Blessed Texas,” and “My Love” each co-written by Seals and earning him the ASCAP Triple Play Award.
Launching his solo career in 1996, Seals teamed with Rodney Crowell to co-produce his Warner Bros. debut, featuring the Wynonna Judd duet “Another You, Another Me,” followed by a self-titled album with guest appearances from Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, and Béla Fleck. He later explored pop/rock with his Andy Sturmer collaboration Thompson Street before founding Hot Apple Pie in 2002. Hailed as “Music City’s Super Group,” their debut became the highest-selling country band debut in the SoundScan era and featured Willie Nelson, producing hits like the Top-20 single “Hillbillies (Love It In The Hay)” and a No. 1 VH1 Country video.
Seals went on to release the independent album Play Time in 2008 and toured nationally before co-founding Music City Pickers LIVE! in 2015 with Gordon Kennedy, hosting icons such as Ricky Skaggs and Peter Frampton. In 2016, he joined Lua Crofts to form Seals & Crofts 2, a modern tribute to the legendary duo.
Most recently, Seals re-recorded “My Love” for its 30th anniversary and released it as the lead single from his new Greatest Hits & A Few Family Gems album. In recognition of his enduring impact, Seals was recently inducted into the Ohio Country Music Hall of Fame.
