Buddy's Place June Artistsf

Come join us for a great night of live music, stories and songs with some of Nashville’s best singer songwriter/artists as Buddy’s Place welcomes Abbey Cone, Patrick Murphy and country duo Smithfield.

A 2020 CMT Next Women of Country featured artist and spotlighted on the 2022 Pandora’s Top 10 Women of Country to Watch list, Abbey Cone’s powerhouse vocals and personal storytelling songwriting will be sure to leave a mark when you see her perform at her Buddy’s Place debut June 23rd! A featured act at CMA Fest and Stagecoach music festival,  Abbey recently made her debut on the historic stage of the Grand Ole Opry and released her first full-length album entitled Greener!  One of music’s finest songwriters and live vocalist – you do not want to miss this fantastic show headed your way at Chief’s!

Hit songwriter Patrick Murphy recently scored his first Billboard number one song with Tim McGraw’s huge chart topper “Standing Room Only”!  Patrick is a crowd favorite of Buddy’s Place fans, and you’ll see why when you hear his infectious songs and incredible vocals live!  He’s released a string of singles as an artist himself, and they’re showcased in his debut EP with Warner Music Nashville.  He’s spent time opening for notable artists such as Kane Brown, Kip Moore, Maddie & Tae and The Script!  We’re excited to have Patrick back for another show and hear new music he’s been working on recently in the studio!

We’re so excited to welcome country duo Smithfield in for their Buddy’s Place debut at this great show headed your way!  The duo, comprised of childhood friends Jennifer Fielder and Trey Smith, made the move from Texas to Nashville in 2012 and haven’t slowed down since!  Successful singles like “Hey Whiskey” and “We’ll Figure It Out” helped land the duo multiple appearances on the historic Opry stage as well as heavy satellite radio airplay, 130 million digital streams and high praise from Billboard and People Country.  Smithfield has opened for some of Country Music’s biggest acts including Brothers Osborne, Morgan Wallen, Dustin Lynch and Old Dominion!  They just released a brand new single getting a lot of buzz entitled “Heaven Has a Grand Ole Opry” – a song any country music fan can surely love and appreciate!  Don’t miss Smithfield at Buddy’s Place!

What started as a series of house concerts in 2011 has steadily grown over the years and now finds itself hosting a special monthly residency at Eric Church’s Chief’s on Broadway – we are determined to hold true to a promise made to fellow music lovers that Buddy’s Place is “where you won’t hear crap!”
