Buddy’s Place first started in 2011 as a series of House Concert event hosted in a tiny townhome living room south of Nashville. Buddy was looking for a way to show support and encouragement to several of his singer songwriter friends working odd jobs and trying to make ends meet while pursuing their dreams in music! Fast forward 13 years, 100+ shows all over Nashville, 130+ singer songwriters sharing nearly 3000 songs (some of those singer songwriters included Kelsea Ballerini, Brett Young, Carly Pearce, Ryan Larkins, Charlie Worsham and more hit makers) and Buddy’s Place now finds itself hosting a series of residency shows at one of Nashville’s most talked about new music venues – Eric Church’s “Chief’s” on Broadway!

We are so excited to continue a “Nashville tradition” at Chief’s with these special nights of live music, stories and songs featuring some of our favorite music makers in town! We’ve got an incredible lineup of some of Nashville’s best: one of Nashville’s busiest performing songwriters KAYLEY BISHOP (“Hold On Honey”) will be sharing her powerhouse vocals and songs from a highly anticipated debut album of originals. FRASER CHURCHILL (songwriter on the Grammy winning “Baby I’ll Wait” recorded by Michael Bublé) has a brand new album out this year and will be sharing some originals as well as his songs recorded by artists such at Walker Hayes, Charlie Puth, Mickey Guyton, Lukas Graham, Flo Rida and more! Hit singer songwriter PATRICK MURPHY is also on board with a great collection of songs for this fun show! Patrick scored his first #1 song on the country charts last fall with the Tim McGraw hit “Standing Room Only”! We’re excited for t his one and would be honored to have you come join us.
