Michael Logen
Grammy nominated, folk/indie pop/Americana artist Michael Logen is one of Nashville’s most respected live performers. Michael’s songs have been featured on many TV shows including “One Tree Hill,” “Parenthood,” “Nashville” and “Suits” and been recorded by Kelly Clarkson, Jonny Lang and many more. With touring as part of the Nashville based group Six One Five Collective, Michael has performed in every state in the continental US as well as the UK, France, Spain and more. You don’t want to miss one of Nashville’s finest performers (and Buddy’s Place crowd favorites) live!
Lauren Lucas
Lauren Lucas is a Tony Award nominated composer and ACM nominated country music recording artist with an impressive resume behind her rich soulful voice. She was part of the songwriting team for the new Netflix hit series “Leanne” and performs the show’s main theme song. Lauren’s music has been heard on multiple tv shows, on Broadway in “Urban Cowboy” and in numerous films. She’s shared the stage with notable touring acts such as Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney and Old Dominion. Currently prepping to release some new music, we are incredibly excited to have her making her Buddy’s Place debut.
The Young Fables
The Young Fables are a country pop and roots duo featuring Laurel Wright and Wesley Lunsford. This popular duo is known for their emotionally honest songwriting and compelling live performances. They are award winners with the Audience Choice Award at the Nashville Film Festival for their feature documentary “The Fable of a Song,” as well as recipients of the Troy Gentry Compassion Award for their work in mental health and wellness! With features in Rolling Stones magazine and sharing stages with music greats Vince Gill, Amy Grant and Rascal Flatts, The Young Fables are set to make their debut at Buddy’s Place.
Buddy’s Place began as a series of intimate house concerts in 2011 and has steadily grown in popularity over the years. A recent review referred to Buddy’s Place as “an excellent alternative to the famous Bluebird Café”! The well-respected “Nashville tradition” music series now graces the stage at Eric Church’s Chief’s on Broadway hosting intimate nights of live music with a monthly residency! Determined to hold true to a promise made to fellow music lovers that Buddy’s Place is “where you won’t hear crap!” – come join us and find out for yourself!
