Quartz Hill Records / Stone Country Records Take Over
2 Lane Summer
Joe Hanson and Chris Ray may have taken different roads to Nashville – Joe migrating south from Illinois and Chris heading north from Mississippi – but when they started crossing paths in Music Row writing rooms, the fast friends soon realized how much they had in common. Both
were multi-instrumentalists who’d grown up singing in church and with a musical DNA that also incorporated country and soulful pop. When Joe and Chris began to harmonize vocally, the power, precision and emotional impact of that blend quickly revealed that these two men were born to sing together. Converging as 2 Lane Summer, the duo built a strong fan base on social media before now signing with Quartz Hill Records. The duo’s latest release, “Here’s to You,” is a summer-party-time toast to our sometimes-forgotten small-town Americans. 2 Lane Summer’s debut EP, The Love Songs, was released in March and features the heartfelt focus track “Til the Day That I Die.”
Dusty Black
Stone Country recording artist, Dusty Black, emerges as his soulful country melodies reflect a deep-rooted family legacy. Born in Texas and raised in Tennessee, Dusty’s musical journey was influenced by his grandfather who played banjo for Johnny Cash instilling in him a profound connection to country music. He’s amassed over 15 million streams in his first four years and has already toured arenas across the US, where he opened for notable artists like Rascal Flatts, Nelly, George Birge, Stoney LaRue, Jimmie Allen, Branco Brown and Lauren Alaina. In January 2024 Dusty signed his first major record deal with country music legend Benny Brown who discovered and developed superstars like Jason Aldean, Dustin Lynch, Joe Nichols and many others. Dusty channels his experiences and heritage into his songs that resonate with authenticity and heart, promising to add a unique voice and gravely tone to the country music landscape.
Annie Bosko
With a voice that beams like a ray of California sunshine, singer-songwriter Annie Bosko returns to the studio, channeling fresh inspiration into a new chapter of music. Writing alongside David‘Messy’ Mescon, Jeffrey Steele, Bridgette Tatum, and more, and collaborating with producer Trent Willmon, Bosko is crafting songs that reflect her upbringing as a farmer’s daughter. With “California Cowgirl” via Stone Country Records from her forthcoming debut album, Bosko embraces her west coast roots that run deep in the heart of California’s agricultural country, providing a backdrop that continues to inspire her blend of signature ‘90s country twang and raw, heartfelt storytelling. Her self-titled EP, released via Stone Country Records, saw the Golden State native making her late-night debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” with a performance of “Neon Baby” – a track that also marked her first charting single at Country radio. Bosko followed her acclaimed EP with stunning collaborations featuring country icons including Vince Gill on the reflective ballad “Higher Ground” and Dwight Yoakam on the Bakersfield-rooted “Heart Burn.” Current single and top 40 hit duet “Better Than You” with Joe Nichols hit the Country radio airwaves as a top five most-added song for five consecutive weeks, including one week before impact. Bosko broke out in 2014 with the SiriusXM/CMT hit “Crooked Halo,” which has amassed more than 3 million streams, earning her a title as an Artist to Watch from Rolling Stone Country. She went on to write songs recorded by Willie Nelson and Jessica Simpson, tour alongside Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley and Blake Shelton, sell out the famed Troubadour and perform on the Grand Ole Opry and at Ryman Auditorium while also becoming an in-demand studio vocalist. Fresh off a Mane Stage performance at Stagecoach and her Rodeo Houston debut, Bosko is set to perform at Country Summer Music Festival, the North Dakota State Fair, CMA Music Fest and Headwaters Country Jam later this summer.
Matt Cooper
Hailing from Jacksonville, FL, Matt Cooper is a genre-blending country artist whose fresh, compelling sound features elements of Americana, roots-pop and faith-based music. Cooper, like many of us, has firsthand experience. While he was scoring a breakout streaming hit with “Ain’t Met Us Yet,” Cooper was also coping with his mother’s battle with cancer. He and his father, and his two younger brothers, were caregivers during the final years of his mom’s life. When she died in 2023, Cooper was lost, questioning both his future and his faith in God. He found solace in relationships and turned it into his new single, “Highs and Lows.”
Ben Gallaher
Ben Gallaher fires twin barrels of melody-driven country music and heartland rock and roll with his new EP, Bullet, scheduled for release on May 9. Produced by Neil and Patrick Thrasher, Bullet is the latest release from a self-taught, modern-day guitar hero who hit the highway as a teenager, kickstarting an acclaimed career that has since taken the songwriter from small-town Pennsylvania — where he grew up listening to ’90s acts like Brooks & Dunn, Tim McGraw and BlackHawk — to stages across the country opening for the likes of Blake Shelton, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams Jr, Lee Brice and more.
The road eventually led Gallaher to Nashville, where he established himself as a triple threat — a singer, songwriter and head-turning lead guitarist. In a town full of guitar slingers, Gallaher immediately stood out, playing riffs and solos that were every bit as melodic as his songs. Lauded as “a promising young songwriter,” by American Songwriter and by CMT for his “authentic artistry,” Gallaher’s recent “Stomp” guitar riff quickly became a viral sensation, generating over 36 million organic social views and earning the rising star nearly 400,000 social media followers. The riff inspired more than 10,000 fan-created videos to-date and earned praise from A-listers including guitar hero Peter Frampton and multi-media superstar Kristin Chenoweth. Wide Open Country even named Gallaher one of its “10 TikTok Country Singers That Need To Be on Your Radar.
Spencer Hatcher
Stone Country Records’ Spencer Hatcher is a bluegrass-influenced country artist who was raised on a farm in the heartland of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. By the age of 11, Hatcher was already playing his five-string banjo in his family’s bluegrass band. In 2020, he formed his own country band, backed by younger brother Connor Hatcher, a bass prodigy and “blood harmony” supporting vocalist.
Quickly developing a reputation across Virginia and neighboring states as an exciting live performer, Hatcher self-booked and played more than 150 shows a year in both 2023 and in 2024, often setting venue attendance records.
Hatcher has also built a strong fanbase, including 870,000 social media followers. He has amassed over 60 million views, including 8.5 million likes on TikTok alone. This led to a high-profile partnership with PepsiCo, with Hatcher co-writing and performing a bluegrass jingle for a nationwide commercial for Mountain Dew Major Melon.
While Hatcher is still known as a “banjo shredder,” he’s now equally renowned for guitar picking and his unique vocals with a smooth southern drawl. The Daily News-Record, Hatcher’s hometown newspaper in Harrisonburg, Virginia, has dubbed him the “String King.” Hatcher closely studies his musical heroes, including fellow bluegrass-turned-country artist Keith Whitley, but as this young old-fashioned gentleman begins his Nashville adventure, he’s determined to forge his own creative path.
Following his debut release on Stone Country Records – a three-pack of traditional country songs featuring the feel-good focus track “Cold Beer and Common Sense” – Hatcher’s latest release is “On the Inside,” a honky-tonk party song about how a broken heart shouldn’t get in the way of a good time. All four tracks were produced by Jason Sellers, Mickey Jack Cones (Joe Nichols), and Ilya Toshinskiy (Jelly Roll).
Lakelin Lemmings
When you hear Lakelin Lemmings sing for the first time, you can’t help but feel like you’ve been listening to her forever. The 19-year-old singer-songwriter from West Tennessee is utterly approachable, and undeniably herself. She’s the all-American girl next door, with big dreamsand the talent to achieve them.
On “American Dreamin’,” her debut track on Stone Country Records, Lakelin spells out all the things that shaped her: small towns, a supportive family, a dedication to faith and, of course, country music. Lakelin’s latest release, “Parking Lot,” is a loving tribute to a favorite meeting spot among small-town teenagers.
Born and raised in a musical family—her dad is a touring country guitarist—Lakelin began singing at age six and grew up listening to icons like Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Loretta Lynn and Lee Ann Womack, along with today’s stars Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, and a heavy helping of Nineties pop.
Lakelin signed her first Nashville publishing deal at just 17 years old and has since amassed more than 100,000 followers on TikTok. Connection and communication with her audience is what drives Lakelin’s songwriting. She strives to let listeners—especially girls her own age—know that they’re seen and heard,
