Charlie Worsham
Charlie Worsham has the entire Music City creative community in his corner, and that’s never been more apparent than with his upcoming project Compadres. Due October 13, the five-cut album finds a handful of his friends and admirers putting their stamp of approval on an artist who makes high-value music with even higher-value intent. Worsham’s decade-long career has earned him unparalleled praise from NPR, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Tennessean, Billboard, Rolling Stone, Forbes, American Songwriter and more. A versatile celebration of musicianship and camaraderie, Compadres features collaborations with Dierks Bentley, Luke Combs, Elle King, Kip Moore and Lainey Wilson. In addition to creating his own music, the proud Mississippi native has recently contributed his talents as both a vocalist and instrumentalist to projects from Eric Church, Brandy Clark, Vince Gill, Kacey Musgraves, Hailey Whitters, Marty Stuart, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, among others. He continues to tour as part of Dierks Bentley’s band, and he was honored with the ACM Award for Acoustic Guitar Player of the Year. Worsham is also the host of Pickers Radio on Apple Music Country, celebrating the liner note legends who create the magic behind your favorite records.
Dee White
Dee White is a preservationist. On his new album Heart Talkin’, produced by Grammy-winning Nashville visionary Tony Brown, the 26-year-old singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Slapout, Alabama, is committed to celebrating the people and things that came before. Over 10 tracks, he sings about mischievous old men at a church potluck dinner, laments the way his lover treats him like a discarded paper cup, and ruminates on the lesser qualities of humanity that are passed on through generations. Heart Talkin’ is the follow-up to Dee’s 2020 debut album Southern Gentleman, which paired him with producers Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys and David “Ferg” Ferguson. After beginning his career as a teenager under the encouragement of legendary record man Harold Shedd, Dee has evolved into his own man and artist, touring the world with icons like Alan Jackson and Alison Krauss and with fellow rising stars like Jackson Dean. He represents both the past and the future of country and Americana music.
Nathan Belt
Country music traditionalist and Texas native Nathan Belt began carving out his skills as a country music performer in his teens, traveling and performing across the North Texas Opry circuit into his early 20s. He would soon move to Nashville, Tennessee when signing his first major publishing deal with Acuff-Rose Publishing in 2001.
In 2013 he founded what quickly became a fan-favorite band in Music Valley and on Nashville’s famous Broadway strip, Nathan Belt & the Buckles.
Since 2021 he’s been a featured performer and host on Nashville’s famous General Jackson Showboat AND you can still find him sharing his love of traditional, classic country music in well-known honky tonk’s and music venues across Nashville.
Most recently he’s collaborated with longtime friend and songwriter/producer, Bryan Simpson (“Better Than I Used To Be”, “Everything She Ain’t”, “A Guy With a Girl”, “Werewolf”). With Bryan’s wisdom and oversight, he’s helped bring Nathan’s love and respect for classic country front and center with the first EP release “A Song In The Making”, available now anywhere you stream country music.
Bryan Simpson
Modern American eclectic singer-songwriter Bryan Simpson is an artist whose sound unnervingly explores an evocative amalgamation of southern folk, bluegrass, classic country and indie eclecticism, with the playful swagger, relatable storytelling, and thoughtful introspection of his heroes which include John Hartford, Tom T Hall, Jeff Tweedy, and of course Bob Dylan.
Bryan’s songs have netted praise from all corners: The Huffington Post wrote “Bryan’s original undertakings are reminiscent of the whimsical and whip-smart work by David Byrne and Jim James”. While SeattlePi claims Simpson’s music echoes “Bowie, and Beck in the melodies, moods, and arrangements. The quest is entertaining and thought-provoking.” His genre-spanning career has included making records and touring as a singer/songwriter with luminaries as diverse as The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, bluegrass giant Ricky Skaggs and Mumford and Sons. Since leaving his hometown of Ft Worth Texas with only a fiddle, guitar, mandolin and a box fan to his name, Simpson has had many of his original songs recorded by country music standouts like Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Hailey Whitters, Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Brandy Clark, Old Dominion, Stephen Wilson Jr., with several of them ending up with a number 1 beside their name on the Billboard and Music Row charts . He has also been awarded NSAI’s prestigious award of “10 Songs I wish I’d Written”. His songs have easily totaled over 500 million streams at this point.
This year Simpson released his first record under his own name. “The Oldest”, released in April, is a concise 11 songs in length, produced by Eddie Spear (Zach Bryan/Brandi Carlisle) and takes Simpson’s shade tree kaleidoscopic storytelling center stage.
