Ben Chapman

Ben Chapman is a road warrior who has spent the previous three years in a whirlwind of activity — writing songs for friends like Hayes Carll, Brent Cobb, and Marcus King; making his Grand Ole Opry debut; and releasing three acclaimed albums of country-fried funky-tonk, but nothing could have prepared him for what 2025 would bring him. His new record Feet on Fire captures that period of wild transition, with songs inspired by Chapman’s marriage to fellow songwriter Meg McRee and the arrival of the couple’s first child. On songs like the guitar-driven title track, Chapman mixes Pink Floyd atmosphere with Crazy Horse crunch, showcasing the full spread of his musical influences. Elsewhere, he tips his hat to his southern roots with the laidback, loping “Out in the Country” and the Stax-sized soul ballad “Missing You.” Produced by Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Anderson East, Feet on Fire captures Ben Chapman as we’ve never heard him before: his back against the wall and his heart full, determined not only to meet the challenges up ahead, but to write about the process, too.

Karla Davis Johnson

Having performed on the stages of NBC’s The Voice, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Grand Ole Opry, and The Ryman, Karla Davis is often described as having a “country blue-eyed soul” sound. It’s no surprise that Davis’ inspiration is rooted in artists like Roberta Flack, James Taylor, and Bonnie Raitt. It was that unique soulful sound that landed Karla her first record deal with MapleTop Entertainment working with industry veterans Jeff Balding and Gordon Kennedy.

In October of 2016, after winning the Eckrich Music City Sing-off, Davis was named the best up and coming act in Country music.

Matt Warren

Chart-topping songwriter. Solo artist. Multi-platinum award winner. Soul singer. Thad Cockrell

Thad Cockrell has been releasing music both under his own name and with his band LEAGUES for two decades; while also a collaborative songwriter who has written with the likes of Joy Williams (GRAMMY-nominated album Front Porch), Devon Gilfillian, and Joseph, among others.

Cockrell was personally invited by Jimmy Fallon to perform with The Roots on The Tonight Show, after Fallon discovered Cockrell’s song “Swingin’” by Shazaming it in a hardware store. “It became my anthem,” Fallon said. “Because I’m like, when you want to give up, don’t give up! If you’re going to go down, you go down swingin’! This is my anthem, I love this song.”

Cockrell’s 2020 solo album ‘If In Case You Feel the Same,’ which features “Swingin’,” was produced mainly by Tony Berg (career spans Phoebe Bridgers to the Replacements), mixed & engineered by Shawn Everett (Vampire Weekend, Beck, The War on Drugs) and features an all-star backing band throughout – ATO labelmate Brittany Howard (backing vocals on track “Higher”), Blake Mills (guitar), Chris Dave (drums), Matt Chamberlain (drums), Ethan Gruska (piano, synths), Ian Fitchuk (multiple instruments).

Buoyed by the support of Brittany Howard, whom he first met over a 4a.m. pitcher of homemade margaritas, Cockrell set to work on his first solo effort in over a decade: an album that exposes his deepest insecurities and weaknesses, all for the sake of creating a transcendent connection with the audience.
